I totally agree with you 100% Spot on! Couldn't have said it any better...

Pede you should be worried about your own team, with all the money being spend on the players Chelsea has and just being 6 points in front of us is worrying for Chelsea, so first look at your own side before talking about others, everybody knows that we need a reliable midfielder, and I am sure that if we get one we will be the champions again very soon

Err....how many points did you say?....heheheheeee.

I dont need to worry about my team mate. We are on track thanks. And there is no need to get all defensive because a non- Man U fan offers an opinion in the Man U thread.

i thought over all we played well. Ronaldo was too cocky and payed for it. O'Shea kept passing the ball to the other team. evra was exposed time and again, although he made some good takles. RVN wasnt holding the ball up very well. rooney had an average game, but had some nice passes and as usual was very strong on the ball. gary neville did his job as did rio and brown. park was very good and was unlucky to miss the target with that shot.

i think ManU has an issue with scoring goals when the opposition plants 8-10 players in their 18 yard box. we are then limited to long range shots since we are unwilling to be pass the ball and try to draw them out of the box. their keeper did have a good game but all the shots he saved were not very far from him.

of the 31 shots we had, 13 were on target. only 7 came from inside the 18 yard box. SAF needs to change their mentality of taking long range shot when faced with a team full of defenders. this is our problem at the moment and why we have problems dealing with the lower teams who come to defend a 0-0 draw rather than play some football and try to win.

just take a look at this gamecast from soccernet and you will see what i mean

Starting XI
Liverpool's goal shoud have been a no goal, Cissse was offside and liftet his fot away from the ball and the ref let it go as Cisse was not included in the play :nape:

Well, anyway we shoud be able to get the second place.

Fantastic first half from both sides, Spurs attacked like crazy in the first few minutes, I started to get worried, but it isn't possible that they can keep that up for the full 90 minutes, luckily we scored on our first counter attack, good link-up between Ruud, Ronaldo and finally Rooney. The second goal was after all the hard work from Park, he lost the ball near the Spurs' corner flag, but he kept on chasing after Lee, in which he forced Lee to make a mistake, Rooney was just waiting for the ball, he just had to shoot

Good game. lucky to be two nil up, Spurs had a few good chances for Defoe and Dawson. Our midfield isn't stopping them well, they've been able to attack via the wings, Lee, Lennon, Davids, Jenas have all made strong runs taking the ball to our half.

Two great goals. First goal showed great technique by Ruud and Ronaldo, and Rooney is simply class, in the right place at the right time.

Park is showing why he is starting games recently with is second goal. Runs for the entire game and nicked the ball from Lee. No one is going to miss in such short range, esp. when it's Rooney.

Very pleased.

Vidic has been great as well. The only thing that's bothering me is...

why is Ruud playing like an attacking midfielder again? he's dropping back too much. The pace of Roon, Ronaldo and Park makes up for that but I'd much rather he'd stay up....

Ruud is playing well, roaming around makes it harder for the defence to defend him, he is doing it well, he keeps the ball well, and luckily Van der Sar is having a good day so far. Lennon is dangerous at times, together with Keane and Defoe they are the biggest Spurs' threath

Help?

FT 2-1

Not good enough. :kader: A real team should have won 5-1 today, not 2-1. Rooney? Just 2 goals? what the hell is that? Sell him now and he can take his average Park+Ferdinand with him. Ronaldo's crap too, we should try to set-up a countertrade deal with Boro for Zenden, heard that guy has a lot of skill and experience to win big things. Oh, and how could i forget, we should get rid of that old, clueless manager while it's not too late.
