£20mill would be great for Ruud... maybe a trade involving Baptista :p

Face it, we've play better without van nistelrooy over the past few months. We can't afford to have him just to keep fans happy and for the good times, and he's not getting any younger. It may be time...
We play better with Saha because we have no midfield. They could just boot the ball up to Saha, where he could do flick ons or hold up the ball. He also runs a lot and his pace forces defenders to defend deep which in turn gives us more space.

When we get some better central midfielders, we'll be able to dictate play, and carve out chances for Ruud. That being said Ruud played very well against Spurs, he didn't slow us down at all. I'll never sell Ruud...

Help?

Good Luck then... they're as bad Propaganda-driven and trustworthy as Sky, various Newspapers, Teamtalk and Co.
Ummm, again, "What the Papers Say" section is not what manutd.com actually reports, it's what the papers actually say about United. So far i have not seen one report from that site that was propaganda-driven or untrustworthy.

If you had asked earlier we might have said yes, but now he's really starting to show his worth. How bout you guys keep Ruud and we keep Baptista. Deal?

EDIT: SAF has also been talking to Villareal board member José Manuel Llaneza, to discuss a possible transfer for Riquelme, during his Villareal visit in their hotel. SAF tried to get Riquelme in the summer, but Villareal weren't prepared to sell him....
Wasn't Riquelme technically a Barca player in the summer , Villareal had him on loan and made the deal permanent in the summer. That sounds like complete bull**** Riquelme wouldn't suit us anyway, he's a class player but like Veron I can't see him adapting to the premiership.

That's exactly how I feel about him as well.

I'm just wondering, amid the speculation about different players, how good is Duscher? Him and Diarra are the two players that keep coming up when our midfield problem is mentioned, and I want to know how good he actually is. I really can't say that I remember how well he played, besides from injuring a certain player of ours. I haven't seen him play since.

Anyways, if we DO sell Ruud to Real for only money, do you think Fergie will buy another striker, or rely on Rooney/Saha/Smith/Rossi to do the job next season (assuming that Smith is played as a striker again)?

Riquelme is class, as was Veron - but they are not made for the Premier League style of play (it's too quick and physical) and 8M £ haha he's probably worth 15-20M £ or more atm.

How many Brazlians, Argentinians etc do you know that are/were a success in the Premier League Heinze appart ?

If Ruud gets sold there is Rooney, Rossi, Smith, Saha - not to forget Blake and even Solskjaer (personally I think it's nice for him to be healthy again, but he will never reach a good enough standard anymore)

Rossi just needs games now, Smith is stil out for a while and Saha remains injuryprone so I think he'd buy another striker.

Riquelme is a slow but very technical and tricky-type player, a world class player similar to Veron. I'm not sure he's physical enough in the EPL though and he doesn't have the pace of the EPL as well. He didn't impress in the Arsenal game (:/) If we sign him he'll take time to adapt but still could develop into a good buy, being given the time :)

I agree with you guys Riquelme is too slow for EPL we need someone like Kaka or Van der Vaart. I dont want us to sell Rud but if we do we need to get huntelaar he is great and ready.
