If you guys want a DM from Ajax, make sure ManUtd breaks the bank for Hedwiges Maduro. He is just awesome. At 19 he's already an addition to the dutch NT. The kid's awareness, calm and positioning is simply just awesome.

He's a controlling midfielder, not a defensive mid although he does and can play on the latter position.

3 (4) Goalies: Van der Sar, Howard, Steele or/& Heaton

8 Defenders:
G.Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Heinze, O’Shea, P.Neville, Spector, Pique

8 Midielders:
Ronaldo, Scholes, Keane, Fletcher, Richardson, Jones, Eagles, Park

4-6 Strikers:
Rooney, Nistelrooy, Smith, Rossi ev Blake & Ole

sell 7:
Silvestre (5M £)
Fortune (2M £)
Miller (little)
Kleberson (2-3 M £)
Giggs (won’t happen since they gave him a new contract) 3M £
Saha (5 M £)
Bellion (little)

So we could get around 15 M £ for them, promoting youngsters and use that money for 1 world class midfielder - what do you think ?

What about Carrick from Spurs I think ?
Isn't he a DM ?

hmmm!
let me adjust the numbers here!
Fortune 3m
Kleberson 5m
Giggs 9m (Giggs aint for sale)
Saha 7m
miller and Bellion 2 m

So there is my price tag!

Im speechless...

Let's sell a lifelong United player, a legend. And let's get a ******* scouser (Y)

Also, whats with selling Fortune? He has been a superb backup and never whined about not being in the starting 11 regulary.

True, he ain't a tough tackling beast. But then again, he doesn't have to. His positioning is damn good that he gets there infront of the attacker. (H)

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has insisted the club are not interested in signing Real Madrid striker Michael Owen.

Speculation in England has been rife regarding Owen's situation in the Spanish capital, with all the talk suggesting a return to The Premiership could be on the cards.

The 25-year-old has always said he is determined to be a success at El Santiago Bernabeu, but that has not been enough to extinguish speculation over his future.

Although Chelsea have been linked, Sir Alex Ferguson's United have been the side most commonly associated with the England marksman.

However, Ferguson's assistant Queiroz has dismissed talk of Owen moving to Old Trafford, saying he was not in their plans.

Queiroz was asked by Radio Marca about both Owen and Real team-mate Iker Casillas, but he dismissed both links.

"I admire Casillas but he is not in the plans of Manchester United," said Queiroz. "Owen does not interest us either."

Queiroz was also keen to quash talks of Cristiano Ronaldo moving in the opposite direction and joining Wanderely Luxemburgo's side.

Ronaldo still has three years left on his Red Devils contract and is thought to want an improved deal, but Queiroz insisted Madrid had not been in touch over a move.

"Real Madrid have not contacted Manchester about Cristiano Ronaldo," added former Real coach Queiroz.

Yes, about time, some sense talk.

With the signing of Park, i think that his place in the squad will be as backup to C Ronaldo, because apart from C Ronaldo we didn't really have any other natural Right Wingers; Fletcher is OK there, but he's best at CM. I think he's a good buy as you can guarantee he'll put 100% in all the time.

The interview in the Official Man Utd Mag with Gabby Heinze is interesting. I admire his view on what he does. He's a great guy - even if he is scared of flying. But he's no Bergkamp and he will actually fly... reluctantly. If some of you guys are interested and haven't got the mag, i'll scan it in for ya.

Yeah but Silvestre was still part of it

To be honest, Silvestre was lucky to be part of the defence. He makes the defence fragile. On the other hand, I was impressed by those long crossfield balls that Silves delivered to Rooney and Ronaldo successfully in the FA Cup Final. Shame that we didn't score though.

How influential is he? Influence is a big thing against midfielders like Lampard, Gerrard and Vieira.

Because it's united player's and that gives them some advance on the market!
I give u an example:
if Beckham played for aston villa,he surly not would have the price tag as he did at united!
Anyway the prices are the ones "i" feel they shoud have!
(H)

I wonder what shirt nr Park is going to use, enyone got a clue?
