Looks like Brown will cover the right. Perhaps more playing time for Bardsley and even Pique.

yea I know eh? Obviously Ronaldo just ran into the guy and fell, but the ref had to give it to him because of the defender's expression lol. He was clearly like, "WTF", when the ball just rounded him and he stood there reactionless.

Although Smith got booked so early in the game
it didnt stop him from making tackles
precise tackles, a few interception
his passes are accurate too
he shouts at teamates a lot too
Smith was a commanding figure in the middle of the park
simply two words: Smithy rocks :rockman:

Van Der Sar made some decent saves, looked solid. I was impressed with Bardsley when he came on, got stuck in, few decent balls. What a strike from Richardson (H). I was suprised we didn't see Rossi tonight, thought he would have atleast been on the bench, or did he have a slight knock? Final though : Gabby :rockman: True Legend.

On a pitch like this against rough oppositions, putting Rossi on is probably not a good idea...

Read somewhere that apparently Oshea got a bit of a knock and hence cant cover for Gary, and we just sold Phil... (maybe Phil might accidentally turn up at the ground (6) )... guess its Wes on right, and...Silvestre in the centre... :nape:

Giggs - Park - Fletcher - Ronaldo....

That is actually lookin like a fairly decent midfield!
And if Giggs is fatigued, we can also do

Park - Smith - Fletcher - Ronaldo...

Of coz, we also have Scholes and Keane, tho I would prefer we give the younger players more chance in the middle, and start Fletcher and Park...

Smith in CM is a risk, but definitely have more potential upside than Keane there..

Thanks man. (Y) Very nice strike for Richardson, heard he picked up a knee injury, anybody know if it was serious?

O'Shea has a calf strain so he can't cover for Neville right now, in all likelihood it'll be Brown who goes to the right. And Cicinho is joining Real in January so forget about him, they already paid 3 million for him now and they'll pay the other 3 in January from what I've head.

Only the first link worked for me. Good composed finish by Heinze from a tough angle, and cheers to Ruud for pushing the defender into the keeper's path. :rockman:

Nice solid performance. Smithy played a good game and could certainly do well in that position. Giggsy showed he's still got the pace and ability to compete for a place. I was surprised at how good Bardsley looked. I'd like to see him get a couple more run outs whilsts Neville is out. Miller seemed to get into the game well too. Fletcher was certainly the worst player on the pitch. He kept losing possesion and giving away easy balls. Ruud was a bit quiet.
