I was off my seat cheering when that goal went in, great goal, I'm not sure if he meant it, Paddy Crerand certainly didn't think so. Hopefully I'll see more of his magic at the Inter Milan game, which I will be attending. :D

There was no shirt near the box, so its either an awful cross or it was meant. Apparently he tried the same thing 5 - 10 minutes before his goal, so maybe it was meant...

He did, it was Joe Evans who reckoned he didn't. Anyway Lou Macari said he meant it so it's two V one ;) Oh and he didn't do the somersault either.

As for going to the game - lucky you! I wanted to go, but my mate who I was getting a lift with couldn't get time off work (I pay both tickets if he drives us) so I didn't get the tickets (I drove to Manchester myself once and I never will again). Still we are planning to see a Premiership game at OT next month - possibly Spurs.

Trust me - you will never forget your first United game :D

BTW I was very impressed with Lee Martin yesterday, he's come on leaps and bounds, hope he gets some game time this season.

I've been impressed with all of the players who have came back from loan.
Including Chris Eagles....did you see his goal? Woah.
He reminds me of a young John Terry :rolleyes:

The first game I saw was the CL Semi-final 2002 where we drew 1-1 away against Bayer and got knocked out. Since I live in Leverkusen and most of my friends were gloryhunting Bayerfans(since they were top of the league, in the cup final and doing well in the CL) they never made me forget it :nape: .
My second United game was the following season where we beat Bayer 2-1, my friends didn't seem too bothered though since Bayer almost got relegated that season (H)

Yeah... only that JT has 2 inches and 30 pounds on him, and that Eagles is a winger.

...wait, John Terry is a centre back, you knew that, right?

I think he meant Eagles reminds him of JT...in the looks department.Not too excited by our young starlets in these pre-season games.They are rightfully out to impress in these non-competitive games.When it comes to the crunch,in the Premiership and CL,only then we will know if they have what it takes to be a Man United player.From the lot Darron Gibson seems to be the only one not making any headlines.From what I heard he is comparable to Steven Gerrard!
