thats different and u know it, he was asked by the press about his opinion, he didn't go about and told/advised Ronaldo to join Real Madrid.....

of course he was going to give an direct/honest opinion given the kind of person he is.

It doesn't really matter, the decision is Ronaldo's hands.

If a third party asked me a question about a friend such as do you think he shoudl get a haircut and i say I think his hair looks hideous, so he should cut it....is that an opinion or a suggestion by inference? think about it....Big Phil's opinion is rather a suggestion by inference and you know it

the difference here is that Ronaldo's relationship with Big Phil is entirely professional(if they're indeed friends then prove it, i highly doubt it), different from what u described, KingPaul...
but like many have said, Ronaldo himself has to make the decision regardless of other people's influence. So whatever happens its him(including clubs involved) who suffers/benefits from the consequences.

Yes but the press fail to mention that he added "of the Portugal kit" straight afterwards - the full quote was on the internet straight after the game - Trust the Daily Star to twist it.

Sergio Ramos has admitted his admiration for Man Utd and would possibly be open to a move this summer (Marca) so I don't know if he actually said this or if Marca are stirring the sh*t again.

I like Ramos. He would provide a great additional presence during defending and attacking set pieces. I'm sure Ferguson can sort out his indiscipline during matches where he sometimes gets booked or sent off needlessly.

Not before the end of the tournament. My team is doing rather well in the Fantasy Football league I am a part of, and my rule is NO UNITED PLAYERS. And yes, that includes Ronaldo, which every other friggin team seems to have in it.

Wow, sounds like something a certain Ronaldo guy could have said earlier on...I promise you this transfer talks will now die down as far as Ramos is concerned, why? because he SAID SOMETHING!...we cant say the same about C. Ronaldo....who btw did say I like playing in all white...of the portuguese national team in a jokingly way knowing full well what he was doing, how some of you Man U. Fans support him still is beyong me...He has shown to be a merc, and really deserves no further than a thank you for your goals have a good life kick in the rear....Im sure I wont mind him at Madrid, but there are a ton of other players that I would rather go for right now...oh well

spot on there..ronaldo has shown the height of disrespect to not just united but football in general

ramos snejder and robinho + money sounds like a great deal to me and then give ronaldo one hell of a kick up the rear end

He has violated that unspoken rule where he has pretended to be "bigger than the club and bigger than the game"....and yeah We wouldnt let Ramos or Sneijder go unless it meant we got Ronaldo for free...Robihno, that's a different story...

I tried the polite methord more then once and so have others. BTW dont assosiate the word "Feck" with another 4 lettered word. It isnt a way to get around the word "fvck off" as your suggesting. You have missitirpited whats being said, Feck has no sexual connotations. Its an expression anger, or contempt etc.

Looks liek united are going for berb again.
