That would be my guess. They're probably saving 8 for Tevez (ironic that this is the season Rooney takes 10)

Fergie confirmed the Tevez deal is almost done, and United want full clarification on everything regarding his ownership.

I heard he plays centre mid ? Signed for us a few days ago didn't he ? If we can get a work permit for him, he might be coming straight over. for 240k it's not a massive gamble, if he turn's into anything, it would be an unbelievable signing.

Yeah that was the origional plan for Cristiano, but he was so impressive he played far more - if Nani or Anderson make an impact, then they too will be given more games.

Owen Hargreaves would suit the number 8 shirt and Anderson would suit the number 12 shirt, in my opinion. Or if Rooney was still number 8, I'd give the number 10 shirt to Owen Hargreaves.

I have MUTV anyway, I'm always watching it, so hopefully we'll know what the squad numbers will be.

As for my view on the new kit, well, at first I didn't like them to be honest, I would of prefered to have kept the crest around the badge, but now they're alright and I'm getting the blue keeper kit for definite. I do not like the new EPL lettering and numbering, though, but still.
