Could be critical of various United players who were dissapointing, but you need to just enjoy the moment, so I'll leave it there. :)

Like...who... Van Der Sar? Yeah, he hardly touched the ball :Carlos*o:

I'm not too convinced about Eboue. The way he jumped definietly deserved the red card because it was reckless, but to be honest he never looked at Evra and just went full speed at the ball. Unfortunate for him, he got Evra.

BTW, anybody noticed how in the opening minutes of every game whenever an opponent has the ball at his feet facing his own net, Brown just tanks into him from behind driving his right foot at a player and trying to kick the ball away with his left. I always see him do that once early on, to show to whoever he has to mark that he won't be taking it easy.

Yeah, I am a defender myself and that is a defender's rule, the first tackle has to be hard, just to intimidate a player and show him that it won't be an easy day for him

Now THAT was the response we were looking for! :rockman: It wasn't lost on me that the fringe players displayed more heart and passion than the regulars did last week (It's about desire) Rooney of course plays every game like it's his last anyway.

Most impressed with (wait for it....) Darren Fletcher! The boy was excellent, when he plays like this I can see why MUTV bangs on about him all the time. Anderson was on top of his game - he dominated that pitch (I'd play him every week) Loved the skill too. Talking about skill, Nani made Arsenal look silly - Noticed Wenger was b*tching to the press about the ball juggling.

I just hope now United's regulars demonstrate the same commitment and fight that some of the "understudies" did yesterday. - That's what really hurt about the derby.

Anyway - end on a high, Bring on Chelsea! (I know we'll draw them tomorrow)

I actually think our team will be better off without Eboue and his antics

I was really impressed with Park as well, brilliant.
I came home in a bad mood yesterday and switched the telly on and it was 3-0, magic.
Seeing that Liverpool lost improved my day considerably as well.
This is the stage of the season where you can see whether you have enough depth in your team and whether your 'fringe' players are up for it or not, I'm glad to say they rose to the occasion admirably yesterday.
Hopefully we can start catching up again in the league.

Followed by Boro if they and us go through. You heard it here first.

Fergie predicted Chelsea - he said he wouldn't be satisfied until he was present at Soho Square for the draw and could see that the ball wasn't heated.

I watched Pompey yesterday, Preston battered them (and missed several chances)

Oh what a shock! I'm astounded!

At least they will keep United and Chelsea apart to the final, if both teams will make it that far.

What nonsense! The FA is going to do nothing about Gallas kicking Nani. I bet if it was Rooney it would have been something much worse then just a fine or something, unbelievable, so by doing this they approve of Nani getting kicked

You can argue about it if the ref gave him a yellow card or if you couldn't exactly see what happenend but come on, that was obvious. It's as if they approve of him kicking Nani...
Game starts in 15 mins, I've been waiting for this moment for ages.

The FA never punish Arsenal. Its a tradition that they like to maintain. There is obvious favoritism and they do not seem to care who knows it. We all saw Ade headbutt Bendtner but the FA said it was not on film. Funny that because the FA actually made youtube, remove the relevant clip from their website. Thats how blatant the FA are about it. Wankers.

Giggs and Scholes were very off-colour. Lyon did get a very lucky break with the goal though. It was a nice piece of skill from Benzema, but with the amount of players beside him, somebody really should have stuck out a foot.

Benzema FTW!!! Sign him now!!!

This game played out quite like the match at Spurs with Tevez again sneaking out a late equaliser at the same spot. Gotta give props to Nani for his better quality of crosses and corner-taking, and of course, super-sub Fred for his wonderful assist. The 2nd leg should be a sitter at Old Trafford.

I think they completely outshone Ronaldo and Rooney. Ronaldo just went missing for most of the game.
