Rio Ferdinand is no doubt world class and is finally living up to his enormous price tag, great setup for van Nistelrooij's goal. All keepers make mistakes and Carroll has only made one, Howard made a series of them so Fergie should stick with Carroll imo. Keane, Rooney, van Nistelrooy(particularly holding up the ball), Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Scholes, Ronaldo were all class and Fletcher was alright too.

Better in the second half but Lyon are a very good team and should go quite far in the European Cup. Liverpool lost. Congrats Fergie.

Good game , both teams played good attacking football . Carrolls mistake was a shocker , but all goalkeepers make a mistake at some point. All the players played well except for Neville and Caroll. Essien was class for the Lyon though , we should look at him to replace Keane hes only 21.

We must finished top. I don't want to face top teams and get booted our before the QFs. I hope Spector and Pique play in the next match. A great oppurtunity to blood youngsters since I'm sure Fener would rest their players.

heh, Man Utd fans shouldn't be talking .... especially after the horrible epl season you guys are having. Are your guys in the top 3 in epl? nope! :D I really hope man utd faces barca next round or the round after (that is if your team can make it), you guys will lose by more than 3 goals. (H)

Very enjoyable match to watch.. am pleased with our overall performace..
What I mostly noticed is that our defenders are attacking much more now.. only if Wes brown scored that goal (he improved a lottt :o )..
Glad to see RVN getting another goal.. It was united's 200th goal in europe if am not mistaken.. :rockman:
and Fergie's 1000th game :Bow: :Bow: :Bow: Legendary landmark..

and you think real madrid is doing good, ronaldo is doing good??? even camacho quit in his first 3 matches, and after the 3 -0 win from barca, its clear who the winner of la liga will be.......even teams like getafe make real madrid worry
