Exactly. I remember when he and Costinha signed for Dynamo I could forsee the move becoming a trainwreck and now both are out just a year later.
I really think Ferguson should take a long look at Maniche. I think he's the type of hard working, two way mid that the Mancs need, in addition to a holding mid, to solidifiy themselves in the middle.

Maniche didn't exactly make friends with the Russian press either by making it pretty public that he though it sucked ass there. He won't go back, I can even see him returning to Portugal before playing there again...

With all of these Vieira rumors, Inter's interest in him is probably dead, but I was definately hoping that we would sign Maniche, because as someone said, when he is motivitated, he's world class. I think he would have had a spectacular relationship with Cambiasso in the middle of the Inter midfield. But Vieira isn't to shabby himself. 
I still think though some great team should push to sign Maniche, because he's in his prime, and if this club is truly going after some silverware, it'll probably push him to improve on his play and consistency.
