It doesn't really matter, United apparantly have the funds to take some risks in the transfer market, as long as this comes in addition to defensive reinforcements and not instead of them I see no reason for United fans to be unhappy

As a consolation, he surely won't be worse than the defensive midfielders we have had for years after Keane; O'Shea, Fortune, Richardson, Cleverley, Alan Smith, Fletcher etc.

I have a feeling Gundogan's fate will be like Kagawa or Nuri Sahin. 1-2 excellent seasons then average at best.

kagawa never had 1 or 2 excellent seasons, WTF :clapwap::clapwap:

at his best he had 1 or 2 excellent matches per season :jap:

Smith was surprisingly hardworking and good defensively but didn't have the passing range. Carrick is very good - gets better with age.

David Moyes was sacked last year after 2-0 defeat at Everton ...

36 minutes and we are down 2-0 ... fucking Goodison Park ...

We are playing slow and boring. No point of making 121297182918219 passes (as Xaviesta would say) when you can't score.
