Master League: Hard to get a player...

My master league team at the moment (I know that there's a special topic for master league teams, but I have another problem in particular).

As you can see, all of these players were out of contract...
I'm playing with Celtic and just went up to Division 2 (Level: Extreme)... but NO players from other clubs want to change teams... doens't matter how much I offer to them, every transfer offer is refused... (i.e. I offered 999 & 9999 pts. for 3 years to Rivaldo, who plays also for a second division team...refused)

Is that normal, or what am I doing wrong... ?

Hey Dannyo, that's a pretty good team there still. Anyway, players who are in other team's starting 11s likely won't be sold during the season especially if they're superstars in the SAME division as you (makes sense right? why sell your best player to a team you'll end up playing)- to get these guys you gotta wait till the off season. Don't blow your wad on just one guy though (sounds dirty that).

[Though with the exception of Jones, Karpin, Robert & D'Allesandro the rest might not be too much better than what u have right now]

Of course there are also the super bargains if u need to get to the top quickly; Diouf, Mpenza, Babangida, Fadiga, Edilson, Van der Saar and so on.
