Max Drive/X-port on the new slim PS2's

I want to get this...but I would have to order it online and I want to make sure it works before I get it..help me out guys!!!!!

They are devices which transfer files from your PS2 to the PC where you can edit them and put them back to your PS2

You can also download files (for ex. PES option file) and put them to your PS2 memory card

Actually it's not the USB ports that I have heard problems about..it's the ability of the slim PS2 to read the accompanying disc that is the problem, without the disc you can't access the USB pendrive
