Wasn't sure where to put this so if Tom or someone feels that it belongs in the players forum feel free to move it.

Anyway, I was just wondering if Tsigalko is any good on FM2005. This is the first game of mine that he has actually shown up (normal database).

I know he doesn't have the finishing stats etc. that he used to have, but has anybody actually bought him and if so can the lad still score goals?

Also, who do you lads believe is the greatest 'goal machine' on the game now?

Maxim is not a goal scoring machine like he was in CM 01-02 although Zlatan has made a patch to increase some of the old legends stats so they are better.

For goal scoring machines in this game i must say Julio Baptista is great although he is an AMC just click on his long shots play a tactic with wingers and crosses and the man scores goals for fun. Header and long shots is what his all about. Back when i was in charge of Sevilla he had more goals than my strikers combined ( mostly becuase they sucked but still ) he scored the most for me in all my season there.

Interesting sig there. Is Nikiforenko in there? I farkin loved that guy. Best AMC ever.

Do try to be careful though. You don't want to start mentioning players like Gomez around Tom. Opens up a whole can of worms that does. You'll never shut him up. :p

Have you found a replacement for him Tom or are you still crying yourself to sleep at night remembering his average ratings?

the tears are there every so often :( but you have to remember; ive been through the same heartache with Ronald Gomez being **** on CM0304 onwards :( :(

I have managed to replace Maxim with the overpriced Cavenaghi, but he's no where near as good.

Lebohang Mokoena is as close as you can get to a "Maxim' kind of type. Unknown, cheap and has a nose for goals(if that's correct english)

I only had the guy for the best part of one season at Liverpool, but Daniel Fredheim Holm scored alot for me. 22 in 18 I think. He's relatively cheap. He cost me around 800K if I remember rightly.

What was his average for you.I play with him now on my Ipswich team.He partnered with Daniel Freidham Holm and Ilhan Mansiz got me promoted.He missed some great chances but he still managed to change the game everytime he played.He dribbled players for fun in the championship although I am yet to try him out in the premieship due to CXC exams.I feel once he masters english I will see the best of him.

Who are you talking about Cavenaghi, Maxim, Gomez?

Isn't Tevez better than Cavenaghi? He scored alot of goals for me. Best hat-trick I've seen on the game against Barca. Real Maradona stuff.
