menu problem

the menus have about 5 seconds delay before they load.. what can be the problem? i have a gf fx5200 , amd athlon 2.5ghz 512 ddr configuration... please help!

Welcome to the forums! I have sometimes had this as well. Make sure that you are not running any programs in the background. Also, make sure that you get the latest drivers for your video card.

i got the problem too. when i start the game, i waited half a min for it to load. then it took a few secs b4 it went to the next screen. the menu is slow but gameplay is alright. still got this prob even though i have a 512 mb and a 256 ram. do you know the problem?

Your issue is most likely being caused by your video card (that card is about 4 years old and on the low end of the fx line - try using an older video driver like the 66.93 on the nvidia.com website).

I have a 512 mb and a 256 ram. do you know the problem

mis-matched ram can cause issues as well.

How many sticks of ram do you have? Do you have one that is 512 and one that is 256? If so, that's a mismatch. A match would be two identical ram chips, ie 2x256 or 2x512 of the same brand and model.

I'm getting it too, and I installed an older driver to see if it will solve the problem but it didn't, and then I tried a recent one and it's still there. Anyone please?

Hi Theo, I'm afraid that you may be limited due to your graphics card. You may need to lower your detail to mid or low to get better response.
