Menus so so slow!

Got a bit of a problem with this game. The actual match side of things works perfectly on the highest detail (and so it should on my system), but the game menus are ridulously slow and unresponsive. When clicking on a player in the line ups before a game for example it will take 3-4 seconds for it to react. And when the menus "fly down" from the top of the screen, they also take ages.

Is there a fix for this??
