Lozano was the one that surprised the most, I really thought that Mendez would go since he hardly played in any of the past couple of games. I know that we've 3 guys who can basically play in that position but he's very good in dead ball situations, tough break for him.

Can people please stop crying over friendlies. U guys are making it seem as if we are world powers that win all our friendlies. Remember, we have lost to El Salvador. :ewan:

And its not a let down by any means, we're gonna choke again, so whats the problem? Why are people expecting more? Id love for more but playing eith ARG or HOL in the next round (assuming we make it out of the group) wont be a picnic.

I wouldn't expect much from these friendlies, Lavolpe has been trying some new things tactics-wise and we're not going to go all out in these games and risk injury. I think we'll be alright in the group although even then I have some doubts. If we manage to get past the round of 16, I'd be more than happy.

Anyway it’s a deception to be winning by a goal and then losing because serious defensive mistakes.

Goettingen 0 – 1 Mexico (Half-time)

Mexico is clearly dominating the match against the amateurs, but still lacks the effectiveness on attack , Mexico could be leading by 4 or 5 goals, but Bravo,Franco, Arellano have failed in the last shot.

Great goal by Kikin Fonseca who should be Borgetti's partner up front because Guille

Franco has no rythm, looks weak, and I think he plays better as a substitute for

the national team...

what about Bravo, for me he is overall a better player than Fonseca.

Though the average of goals/minutes played of Fonseca must be better.

This explains my sentiment towards the next game.

Don't worry Omar, I got your back for the next game. - Guardado

I heard a funny story on Guardado about how he got to debut in Primera, PORFAVOR Lavolpe. :chew:

Good thing LaVolpe sent back Guardado and put in Guille. Guille's fall-in-the-box, miss-the-header, and pass-nowhere-close-to-Kikin, were really a huge lift off the bench. :nape:

Man, I'm not looking forward to the game on Saturday. I'll consider it a success if we don't lose by more than 3 goals.

How much of a joke do is it look like now that FIFA made us a seeded team?

Yeah, really. I'm hoping since they played pretty lackluster versus Netherlands, that they show up kinda slow on us. Yeah, I know, pretty wishful thinking. If we win, it'll be nothing short of the biggest upset thus far. But how we've played it looks really, really hopeless.

I guess knowing that we have a slim-to-none chance of winning will make it a lot easier to take. I remember last World Cup I was pissed for days when Mexico got disqualified.

Oh well, it's a lot easier to watch the games as a neutral. There's two more days of good games before it's our time. I can't say I'm much looking forward to it, heh.
