thats the same reason why he calls up Mendez, Salazar and Zepeda...he used to coach them at Atlas.

Of that "era" the only good players that came out of Atlas were Rafael Marquez and Daniel Osorno...the rest suck.

And why does he keep calling up Octavio Valdez?! He was only good when he played for Toluca, now he sucks at Pachuca. He should call up Emilio Hassam Viades...hes a way better LWB.

And the call up for Mora is long oberdue...all i can say is FINALLY!

I guess you could kind of make a case for Zepeda but he hasn't done too much lately. The future of Mexico. If only they could have reached their full potential, we would of had a pretty good team compared to today's.

just so you know, in 2003 Mexico has played 8 games in the US:

1 Win (vs Bolivia)
3 Draws (vs Colombia, USA and Paraguay)
4 Losses (vs Argentina, El Salvador, Peru and Uruguay)

Mexico doesnt take these games seriously, they dont wanna play these games but they have to because the Mexican Soccer Federation is a fu*kin money hungry bitch.

In first place, I think Lavolpe should stop experimenting with 4-5 players each game, he should have the base team by now.
Lavolpe should also start calling up Zinha from toluca, Zinha together with Mora in the middle would distribute the ball perfectly to the forwards.

I also think that couple of the defenders that Lavolpe calls up from Atlas and Cruz Azul are just too young to put the courage that is needed in the national team, no wonder Atlas and Cruz Azul are in danger of not qualifying to the liguilla.

I know Borguetti didn't get called up to the national team, but who ever saw the game Tigres-Santos, you guys have seen how bad Borguetti's control of the ball is, is just a piece of ****. The only thing that is good about Borguetti is the head but sometimes not even that.

Ramon Morales is used for the wings, but whenever he tries to go 1 on 1 with a defender, he always goes out flying because he's weak and short, and in some ocasions, he can't even raise the ball to make a center.
Omar bravo is also weak, when he tries to shoot, he shoots like a girl, he looks scared when trying to fight for a ball with another defender.
he doesn't have the experience either to me on the national team

I don't know what you guys think, but that's just my opinion

As much as I like Mexico, I think that Mexico is going to loose 2-1

I almost forgot about short Juan Pablo Rodriguez, I don't know what's wrong with Lavolpe that he always calls him up, he sucks, is not like he's passing through an exellent moment in Tecos. Juan Pablo Rodriguez sucks.
