Mexico vs Iceland [R]

Mauricio

El Gran DT
Iceland has not their top players so its pointless thats because its wasnt a very good time to make a friendship is not a fifa day so is going to suck, besides the mexican players are playing the most important game in the league this saturday so they are not going to risj themselves, so is gonna suck

Anyway. Mexico1-0 iceland

Yeah, Lavolpe should call him up. He is exactly what we need. We don't have that player who can create opportunities for our strikers. Someone should tell Lavolpe to stop fantasizing about "El Chato" and call in a real player to take his spot. :kader:

Also, Mauricio makes a good point. With the league coming to a close soon and spots for la liguilla still up for grabs, they might not try as hard. We should win though. If we don't, well, I wouldn't be surprised. (:/)

You guys remember when Spain cancelled the game againts Mexico, I think it was during September and Lavolpe started saying that Peru sucked and that playing againts Peru wouldn't work because they needed a greater challenge, and you guys also remember that Mexico lost 3-1, if Mexico lost againts Peru, how are they going to expect to do againts a European country?
You guys also remember that Mexico won the Gold Cup, it was because they never left Mexico City.
Did Lavolpe forgot about Torrado or what?
Even though people say that playing in the US is an advantage for Mexico, I think it doesn't matter that Mexico plays in the US because as #1 stunna already said, Mexico hasn't done that good this year.
I thinks that it doesn't matter where Mexico play, if Mexico doesn't have the team to win, it's plain and simple, they are going to loose. Lets get over the whole playing in the US is an advantage for Mexico, it doesn't work anymore.

The only reason they play here is because they get more $$$ here than they would get if they played their friendlies in Mexico because the people wouldn't go out to see them play like they do here. The reason Torrado wasn't called up during the summer was because he was hurt and he only recently had surgery on that injury. I have this magazine that I bought while I was in Tijuana last Sunday and they interviewed him. He said that if he were given the opportunity to play for another team, he would want to play for Osasuna and that he's obviously unhappy with the board of directors at Sevilla after everything he's gone through as of late.

Peru have a pretty good side mate. I wouldn't be suprised if they could beat several Euro sides.

besides i herd that the sell of tickets for the game was going bad.

Mexico should organize better the dates, play in mexico, and stop playing useless friendlies(im not saying tha iceland suxx but it would be more attractive in a fifa day with all the star players and far from important games in mexican league), they are going to play this one because they have a contract signed with an american company

Dude! and the excuse for US is that they had to move from state to state but they were still in Us territory. Torrado is in rehab due to surgery. Stop talking out of your ass and get your facts straight. LOOSER? (loser).

I support the Mexico National team and I will never bash on my team. Mexico will have a tough game but I think they will win 3-1. I know Lavolpe's strategy for Germany 2006 and if all of you who are bashing on Lavolpe now and Mexico wins the WC in 2006 then I feel sorry for you for not believing in Mr. Lavolpe. I BELIEVE. To the person who bashed on BRAVO I guarantee you that he will be the starting STRIKER for Germany 2006 and he is not afraid he is just warming up for a long term with the Mexican National team cuz I STILL BELIEVE in my team:rockman:

They said that starting next year, Lavolpe is going to finally end his little experiments and choose the players he thinks will make up the base of the team. (Y)
