I was just thinking, im in 2007 with Man Utd, ive maxed out the squad to perfection, and won the champions league 3 seasons in a row. Im thinking of looking for a new challenge, ive only selected the English league when i started the game, so FM doesn't run too slowly. So im restricted to choose other managerial choices in England. So i was just thinking it might be a good idea if you could select other leagues to manage clubs in during your saved game? So for example I could choose to have the Italian league selectable now, and i could go and manage Parma as a new challenge. What do you guys think of this idea?

Yeah but once you get to around 2010 the game starts to run slow, takes ages to save, continuing times get longer etc, well for me it does. So its not always a good idea to select more leagues.

Just delete the .pks (or .pkm) files. they're all the matches, delete them and it runs a lot faster.

if you only select te highest leagues, then it doesnt make it run much slower.

when you don't select a league to start with, (depending on db size) players on other teams are not included to the save game. nor are there many regens in these countries. i don't see how it would be implemented (:/)

Its possible to happen in future versions. Quite, as long as some ppl at SI realise that ti will be an extremely useful thing (or maybe they already do, but they aint good enough to make it)

it seems like one of those unrealistic ideas, right up there with britney spears making good music, but a good one. maybe there could be a patch that just automatically adds on the stats for those leauges when you choose it later on, but then how does it tie in to your game... it seems impossible

still, it would be kind of cool. i would welcome it with open arms, since it does run much slower on my computer if i choose 3-4 leauges instead of just one.
