MLS & USMNT Team Thread

For any fans of the MLS and the USMNT, please post any comments on rosters such as missing players (i.e. Dipsy Selolwane) or grossly incorrect attributes (i.e. Twellman and Ruiz) for the 2002 season as well as player moves going into 2003.

Also, if anyone is starting to experiment with creating kits, please make a 3rd jersey for each of the teams by just changing the dominant color of the kit to that of the trim or any other color associated with the team. An example would be to change the Chicago Fire from the "Men in Red" to the "Men in Blue".

If anyone has already saved some changes to a package, please forward to me at [email protected] and I'll compile them into a single package.

Teams I'm starting work on are the final 8 A-League teams in the U.S. Open Cup as well as the MLS All-Stars and the U.S. National All-Stars.

well i just got mine last night and of course started my season with my team the LA Galaxy... and yes there are alot of things wrong with the players skills... i mean i have T.Marshall with an 80 and yet Ruiz has a 59?? damn how hard is it to get things wrong when the MLS has only 10 teams?? i mean even Ezra Hendrikson isn't right...u could tell by seeing him he's really tall and in the game he's ave. height...

why couldn't these guys have gone to 1 gmae and get the free magazine they give out at the entrance..in that magazine they usaully have everyone's height weight etc.. and even the plyers pics!! oh well ... i still enjoy the game..hopefully next time they actually get some things right!!!

Off the top, Clint Mathis is grossly underated for the 2nd season in a row, we got non name bench players rated higher in the game.

ALSO Tim Howard is looking really white in this years game... He is not white.

I think a general rating system should be adopted for any rosters you make, star players should be as good as the international counterparts...

EA seems to not care about the MLS or US soccer, once they pick the box cover photo...

I didn't even notice the MLS teams in FIFA 2003. I'm to busy playing with quality teams like Arsenal and Real Madrid.

so tell me whats the point of your post? honestly?.. i mean do u think that just because we like MLS and play it on Fifa2003 that we don't bother with the European teams>?

i am playing an MLS season along with Seria A ,Bundesliga,EPL,& La Liga... so please if u don't have anything to say that pertains to this thread please don't bother...

i swear i mean to u get offened or something that people astually like MLS?

u know what a trip?, the fact that people like u think that us MLS fans consider our league better than the top leagues in Europe when in fact no one ever says any of the sort... every MLS thread some dumbass has to ruin our moods..i mean if u don't like then don't read it or reply..i mean its not like they don't title the threads with, for example "to MLS fans"... so please if you don't like the MLS then don't bother us FANS!!!!!

I play with all the great teams from across the world, but i still love the MLS as well. And we MLS fans get this EA game after our season is over, so many things like rosters and kits are totally outdated.

btw I attend many Metrostars games and try to see the international friendlys when they happen at giants stadium too.
I love soccer!

Don't get discourged by peoples comments, this is a worthy thread and I hope it will yield some great patches and updates...

Also remember there is much anti-american sentiment in the soccer world and the MLS seems to get the brunt of it. People forget the US is now ranked high in the world and did very well in the WC....
There are some very talented foriegn players in the MLS, and I think its great as well...

Hey man, dont get an attitude with me. I'm just making a comment. I never said the MLS sucked. I happen to like the MLS too, but I didnt notice that the MLS teams were there cos I was excited to play with real madrid. I dont have nothing against MLS.

hey man its all good man.. but u gotta understand the way u made ur comment seemed like like an insult...i mean i was excited to ,its just that so many people come to MLS threads and start talking @#$ u know, but hey i apologize... MLS rocks!!

No hard feeling man, soon MLS will grow and be just as successful as the other international leagues. We just need to give it time. I apologize If I came off bad about the MLS.
