Fidel, would you mind sharing your knowledge about AI editing and db editing? Many users like me don't have the time to explore and change every single code in the cl.ini file to see what they mean/how they affect the game. Since you edited gameplay for a long time, your knowledge will be really valuable. I also hope that when you lay down the basic, more people will be attracted in gameplay editing. You are basically the only one donig this right now, as regularcat and paulv2k4 are not really active anymore. In my opinion gameplay is the most important aspect of FIFA, so there should be more people concentrating on this.
About your gameplay, there are still some long-time issues not fixed. The super accurate clearance bug, which I believe have persisted since at least FIFA 12, has gotten better, but not totally fixed. I tried editing the attributes about clearance in the cl file, but as the clearances become less accurate, they also become super strong, sometimes go straight to my GK. Another bug is the overhead kick clearance, which got almost completely eliminated with your gameplay, but still happens sometimes.
The "forget the ball" bug is really bad; even if I stop the ball completely, do nothing for 2 seconds, and then pass the ball, players often take another 3 seconds to search for the ball and then do a turnaround pass. This is particularly terrible when using lobbed through ball, which is awful for me because I use that a lot. Players also often misjudge the ball, or even completely miss the ball though the ball is slowly passed straight to them. I believe this has something to do with your hybrid gameplay, because I never experienced the problem before installing HG. I mean it is good and realistic under an acceptable level, but now the rate is too high it becomes unrealistic.
AI tackles also need to be less accurate. If there is anyway to increase AI reaction time to player's sudden movement, either passes or dribbles, that would be the most realistic fix. Even when I increase user run frequency to 100 in the slider, CPU AI still seems to react way faster than my teammate AI, i.e. when I find a pass, especially a through ball, CPU moves to block the ball even before my teammate starts the run to receive the ball. More reaction time and less accurate tackle may also increase fouls; if every CPU tackle is perfect, there is obviously no foul.
I use your AI + HG, Moddingway's DB 4.0 with Gameplayzer, and SEPAKBOLA slider except with Marking at 60-75 (adjusting), user run frequency at 100, and user first touch error at 50. If you can make a tool like Gameplayzer to apply your db formula, that would be awesome. I still can't use your db with Moddingway patch, and even if I can, applying gameplay to any db would be great (new teams, e.g. a national db can be played).
