The 3 videos I posted in this thread, this is for the problem with CPU attempts at rainbows that were present BEFORE you created your ai and db mods, it's present in the xbox360 retail version and PC demo version too, it exists the same before and after patch v1.2 and also with or without yours or anyone else's gameplay mods.......so far at least. What I said on my post and on previous posts (I did post a few too many times the same thing as regcat pointed out) is that 100% of the time the CPU fails every time when attempting rainbows as per my videos. I find it strange that no one else has noticed!

The new ball gravity therefore in your ai (that you have maybe changed) has not therefore created this problem, I reported this rainbow issue way back in your thread way before you changed the ball gravity with your first db and ai combination.

Bulkan is asking for something different for all CPU skills..........but I don't understand why he asks for them to all be done by the CPU correctly, because I find all CPU skill attempts are 100% correctly done by the CPU every time they do them already, all except the damn rainbows.

And yes, what would be the best is for all CPU skills to have some failing, some performing correctly, i.e. using ball physics within them so the outcome and ball angle, speed etc within the skill move is organic and different each time, which from all the CPU vs CPU I have watched on PES 2014 is the case for PES this year, that really does have organic tricks...........it's a pity, because FIFA 14 this year has more CPU tricks on show than PES.......

dazzer, if you've played fifa 11 console version, you can understand what i mean. im still play it on ps3.
i'd like to see more skillmoves by cpuai, like in fifa 11. i'd like to feel more inviduality, personalty using by cpuai. skills, runs, passes, long shots..etc.

about the cpu skillmoves, fifa 14 is better than 13&12, but still not enough for me.

I've had and tested all those versions Bulkan, and yes fifa 11 was the first, but it WAS the first PC fifa that used the console engine that ea created and developed since fifa 07, previously PC fifa's were deemed to be not able to run the engine which we all knew was nonsense.

But as for CPU attempting tricks, I have found each version since fifa 11 has steadily introduced a higher count of CPU capable tricks, and fifa 14 has the most, and they ALL perform perfectly each time except the rainbows that go wrong each time! We need a middle ground whereby all the other tricks can sometimes fail, and for rainbows to actually work, whereas at present they don't at all. They work if we perform them, as human players, sometimes fail sometimes work, but the .exe hard coded animation (or if that's in one of the .big files) for the CPU players,I am assuming, makes them miss the final flick each time.

I was hoping a mod by Fidel or the others could change the ball gravity to the extent it would make the rainbow work, but it appears CPU tricks are all hard coded to have the same outcome and all ignore the cl.ini or RNA.ini editable parameters these mods introduce. I hope to be proved wrong and that Fidel can work his magic....

Feedback to your 1.0 version, (have not tried your upgrades yet):
Physics are more realistic, balance between AI pressure and ball control gives more intense battles in midfield. There are now many stray passes from AI and it overall gives more of a sense of realism.
It seems the scripting is gone and that by itself is wonderful!

On the negative side (at least for me) I have found it too much difficult in World class. I don’t feel cheated anymore, but now AI pressure and stray passes makes it much more difficult to create chances. I spend the entire game watching inferior teams beat the hell out of me and that turns me off a bit. Curiously the few chances I create tend to give more goals than before.
Another thing is that although I understand your tip about playing 10 minute halfs, I am much too costumed to play 6 min ones and at a point when you start taking goal after goal it just feels boring…

I will now try on professional difficulty. My problem with this game (vanilla) is that gameplay is much more rewarding on World class, but cheating/scripting ruins it for me. It makes it too much difficult and it feels out of my control.
I hope your gp + ai will give us a challenge on professional, or that your upgrades will smooth the difficultness of WC.

Hi Fidel,

I tried new DB update and yes that works also was obvious because this time careers wont load (last DB they did which I was expecting not to).

Unfortunately I am getting the same camera lag and minor stutter which I have experienced ever since your first release. I have absolutely no idea why or what is doing it (baffled to be honest) its Cl content and not Db related that's for sure, if I switch back to immersion its all fine again, so im afraid that unless more people suffer from it (I dont see that they do) I seem to be the minority on it. As a result I will have to throw the towel in this year for your AI mods and use "the other one" :)

Thanks for posting back though, if you still wanted to use me as a test case for "the laggy ones" PM me anything you think it might be and I can report back yes or no, but if its not something to spend your time on other than the main thing itself then dont worry.

Just tested your AI 1.2 and there is no more cheating by the AI finally - THANK you very much for that, Fidel.
All the other other things are nice but I rather like the EA gameplay after the patches, especially the fitness model of yours is pretty rough in EL/CL weeks.

So can you do a patch that only removes the AI cheating, excluding all the other stuff?

FIFA 14 HYBRID GAMEPLAY EVOLUTION
REAL SOCCER SIMULATION SERIES

The whole fifa community complains about the gameplay and related issues.
Community also said about the differences between demo gameplay and full game gameplay and some old fifa ng gameplay core.

After many requests and discussions about all of these gameplay issues, guys on soccergaming forum remember me:
Fifa11 Hybrid Gameplay Mod and give me the inspiration to release a new Hybrid Gameplay Mod for 14.

HG11 consists in extraction, editing and importing gameplay core files (EA next generation - xbox 360 or ps3) to fifa 11 pc (no ng).
And all of this I've created the standard gameplay mod implementation into the product.ini (2010).
So in these weeks after the fifa full release I went to see all my notes/tips/research/files about general fifa ng gameplay core editing/decrypting/hex editing and more.
I found all my notes about attribdb.vlt and attribdb.bin offsets/address for gameplay core hex editing.
Now that's what I found in fifa14 pc game:
I've found that into vlt files are stored some gameplay events and setting of these events.
What really makes a difference isn't events setting, but event's playback.
Now according to what I have just said, I've quadrupled and many doubled all the events.
Event is the gameplay situation during a match. For example the cpuai tacke you? This is an event.
Another things is:
- for example I want an event from fifa 11 ps3 version! I copy this event inject/merge into the 14 pc vlt.
- unfortunately game have an event's limitator.

Files into data\attribdb folder are edited and processed with my method/interpretation said above "Event's Playback".
You can see this by the big files size (respect original files).
Original decompressed attribdb.vlt = 52 kbyte
Hybrid Gameplay decompressed attribdb.vlt = 782 kbyte
On addon I add the gameplayattribdb.big extracted from the 14 demo (xbox 360).

- Any others several improvements for make game match really enjoyable and you discover when play the game.

Tested and pefectly working on FIFA 14 updated on according to latest official game update (1.02).
I suggest to use on both with GP EVO DB & AI (latest versions).
GP EVO DB latest Version: 0.6
GP EVO AI latest Version: 1.2
Gameplay is completely new and you have to understand it.
I suggest you to adjust your slider's setting on according to new gameplay values.
Anyway all new gameplay settings requires to be adjusted through ini file,
and soon come out a little standard gp evo gameplay update (AI) for fix some issues.

INSTALLATION
Copy Game folder in FIFA 14 MAIN FOLDER \Origin Games\FIFA 14
Regenerate game files.

I suggest to regenetate game files with File Master 14 by Rinaldo (fifa14 installation required - or fifa14 registry key required).
Open File Master 14 (admin rights), check if the tool point to the correct FIFA 14 folder, from Tools menù click regenerate bh files, wait for ready, close FM14.

NOT ONLINE COMPATIBLE
Soon I release a new tool for enable/disable HG 14 in one click.
At moment for play an online match:
Go to \Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game\data
Rename the three folders shown below by adding .bk
You must rename the folders and not the files inside (speed-up method).
Example: \Game\data\attribdbgameplay (folder) in \Game\data\attribdbgameplay.bk
\Game\data\attribdb.bk
\Game\data\neuralnet.bk
Regenetate game files. Now HG is disabled.
Delete the .bk from folders and regenerate to re-enable HG14.

UNINSTALL

Remove, delete the following folders:
\Game\data\attribdbgameplay
\Game\data\attribdb
\Game\data\neuralnet
Regenerate game files.

After regen i was looking at the big files and I notice these attrib references are all under "data0". Although looking through it I dont see any ref to the folder "data/attribdb" I only see data/attribdb2/ for the two artribdb files ... so what should it be? I cant see where those external files are being referenced to be used?

Just want to make sure im installing it right.

Fidel, im testing it right now, w/first match, but something strange happening here. it's on player career mode.
cpu never doing attack to my side & always keeping the ball.

edit: it's ok, it's my fault.

there was a code on my rna.ini ;
USE_REMOTE_GAMEPLAYATTRIBDB=0

i removed this line & regenerated again & hg gameplay mod works fine right now.

After playing with: original game,fidel 1.0,1.1 and finally with 1.2 version,i can say that I have three hypotheses regards my favorite issues- game-play and players movement.
1.EA updated in secret the game by latest Origin update (less probably);
2.The game,randomly loads or plays in different game-play style (this must be investigated because its not cleared for me,i still feel a random when i quit and than play again);
3.Fidel`s last game-play is so near to be like in demo i played (there are many chances to be so).

Loving AI 1.2 for most part, but here are a few comments below

A few comments on the newest AI 1.2: playing against Totenham Hotspur not a top team.

During rain situations
- Protecting the ball has issues: The players will 50% chance just leave the ball and the PC will take it with ease.
- Players still don't try to do as much follow up against a struck attempt at goal.
- Still no players in the back waiting to receive ball after a corner kick.
- PC makes very little mistakes on tackles, slides etc... where real players make plenty of them. I really want to feel like I am playing against another player and not a PC that has little errors in algorithm of passing
- The ball will sometimes hit players from behind and go flying in a random direction. this is similar to when players just forget the ball.

I seriously think quite a few of these glitches might be due to rain/snow conditions,will continue to test.


Will keep reporting.

Hi fidel when you get time can you comment on your attrib files, in comparison to gamplayzer it seems your files are in folders that are not used in bh files or in wrong places ... a bit confused, could you comment on it .. am I wrong here?
