Rainbows.....................NOW WORK FOR CPU!!!!


I have just witnessed for the first time ever in a football game (ok, leaving FIFA Street out of this as it revolves around all these tricks), a CPU player do a Rainbow Flick!!!

Fidel, at first you thought your early Mods had caused the problem where none of the Rainbow attempts worked for the CPU (with your ball weight, inertia changes etc), until I explained to you that 100% of the time they were failing the same way each time before and after your early mods.................and in the back of my mind, I felt that with you changing the ball physics, weight, inertia etc as well as making player animations look more organic and smoother, then maybe eventually you will make the Rainbows work for CPU players, kind of by accident.................

Well, would you believe it, tonight is a magical night. I have tried all your Mods, AI v1.0, AI v1.1, AI v1.2, and AI v1.2 + v1.0 Hybrid (all with DB 0.5 I haven't tried 0.6 yet)........but reverted tonight back to Fidel AI v1.0 and added Fidel v1.0 Hybrid to make it ''Fidel AI v1.0 + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid'', and it truly made the gameplay I was watching (as usual, CPU Barca vs CPU Real Madrid, Legendary, Normal Speed) stunning, it was unlike anything I have ever witnessed.............you have put together a combination that looks sooooo unlike the default EA exe v1.02 gameplay, the play is so slick and as your Doc's describe, more tricks/skills are showing due to the AttribdbGameplay addition via Hybrid.

Back to the magic..................yes, it actually happened, I saw it with my own eyes and replayed it, slowed it down, watched different angles, videoed the damn thing, got a beer from the fridge....ordered a large pizza to celebrate............. oh yes indeed, Bernard did a ''Simple Rainbow'', it was beautiful !!

I am hoping that the ball physics and player animation alterations being caused by your DB/AI Mods will also mean that now that the CPU Rainbow attempts are working, they will also work with different timing, i.e., some still to go wrong, some to have the ball spinning anti clockwise or clockwise etc, similar to FIFA Street where I monitored lots of the tricks the CPU do and it has various outcomes each time they do it (maybe from animations they created for each trick to make them seem more organic, or hopefully from the ball physics realism within the mechanics of the trick).

(Incidentally, my Barcelona and Real Madrid teams I watch I have built with 5 star skill players throughout the first eleven, so I get to see more tricks being performed anyway (obvious I know), but tonight, with your Fidel AI v1.0 + your Fidel v1.0 Hybrid, I stumbled across this awesome combination and witnessed something I didn't think would happen until EA fixed it !!!!!)

Unrelated to my Rainbow post above



I'm wondering if anyone here has tried the Hybrid Attrib folders at the same time as Fidel AI v1.0 (assuming naturally most of us would be trying it with Fidel's latest AI v1.2 and not bothering with AI v1.0................) because I have spent 4 hrs tonight comparing:---



Fidel AI v1.0 + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid (with just DB 0.5)

and

Fidel AI v1.2 + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid (with both DB 0.5 and DB 0.6, regenerated with Filemaster 14 (running as admin) when changing to DB 0.6)



..........and have witnessed a stunning difference between the two combinations, put it this way, the AI v1.0 with v1.0 Hybrid is too awesome to describe, but AI v1.2 with v1.0 Hybrid is almost like watching EA v1.02 Vanilla.......not good!


I am not talking here about anything related to my ''Rainbow obsession'' either, this is a general gameplay/ball physics/AI thought process/animation major difference as watched with CPU vs CPU as I always do, its like watching two differently coded games.


I switched back and forth between AI v1.0 and AI v1.2 a few times to prove that I wasn't going mad as well, it was not like I was imagining things.


I will write up a full report tomorrow, hopefully this might give Fidel some important feedback because AI v1.2, to be honest, has lost most of what is amazing in AI v1.0, and even Fidel might be taken by surprise with just how immense AI v1.0 works with Hybrid.


Before I write the report, I BEG ALL OF YOU (even Fidel, even AndreaPirlo and RegularCat, all of whom are the master gameplay modders) to try Fidel's AI v1.0 + Fidel's v1.0 Hybrid, its out of this planet, its surprisingly absolutely amazing. I can guarantee it beats anything the Ignite engine is going to ''surprise us with''.



Anyway, onto tomorrow........my in-depth feedback report on what I witnessed tonight (with no mentions of Rainbows, honest, now I have witnessed it working for the CPU thanks to Fidel, I wont mention them again!!)

Ok, so I just returned from the dead (I registered here a lot of years ago and I follow the forum but I don't usually post) to say to all of you "Listen to dazzer169". I just played a Barça - Real Madrid match with v1.0 Hybrid and it was AMAZING! It really is a different game, a BETTER game. So, do it now and enjoy! ;)
Last but not least, thanks to Fidel for his amazing mod!

Pulga, I meant use the older v1.0 AI that Fidel first released, with v1.0 of hybrid..........hopefully your test was with these two together and not v1.2 AI with v1.0 hybrid, if not, then be prepared for an even better experience when u try it.

I will be doing my test comparison report later today.

unlock edit player in career mode= at moment isn't possible to unlock (I'm investigating).

As promised, here is my feedback after 4 hours last night testing and comparing two "Mod Combinations" of Fidels recent releases:-



Fidel v1.0 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders <<< ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, AMAZING

and

Fidel v1.2 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders <<< NOT GOOD ! ?


(both tested using Fidel DB 0.5 and then with Fidel DB 0.6)



My testing was purely watching CPU Barca vs CPU Real Madrid, in Legendary, Clear conditions, Normal Speed, and at both the Nou Camp and Bernabeu stadiums

The Barca team has had Ibra, Ronaldinho, Bernard transferred into it and the Real Madrid team has had Suarez, Coutinho, El Shahaary transferred into it, hopefully to increase Skillmove attempts.


To say I found very contrasting gameplay would be an understatement...its amazing what the different CL.INI files bring to the gameplay:--





Fidel v1.0 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders <<< ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, AMAZING



Positives


- Loads of "Ball Stand" skill moves by CPU players, seems to be every 10 seconds or so

- Everytime CPU player walks or runs the animation sequence looks unique, organic

- 80% of the time, each CPU player has personality in his feet when he receives the ball, "something is about to happen"

- Ball is mostly loose, has real physics even more than EA intended

- Skillmoves happen that I have not seen before by CPU players (Ball Roll Fake), and some that didnt work for CPU players previously do now (Simple Rainbow)

- Fluidity all over the pitch (similar to La Liga real football), as well as physical battles, players falling in penalty area causing mayhem but its realistic (typical "English Premiership"" at times)

- Some very poor first touches where ball often bounces up high, I actually love this, I think its very realistic as it doesnt happen that often, and again, is very "English Premiership"

- Lots of fouls, so many free kicks but not too many that it seems unrealistic. Each foul also appears organic, the player going down seems to fall differently each time.

- Throw ins. I dont know if this is unique to this Mod Combination, but I have seen, in the last 4 hours, many throw ins where the opposition player who put the ball out of play tries to prevent the throw in taker getting the ball quickly from behind the touchline, its amazing!! I think this is one of the animations Fidel talks about that have been "opened up" now.

- Incredible combination one touch passing moves especially by Barcelona, which is, again, 100% realistic



Negatives


- Players sometimes shake as they move, I put this down to thw CL.INI containing strings that give the FIFA14.exe code a lot of decisions to make with the enhanced parameters Fidel has introduced

- Lots of headed goals

- Cant think of anymore to be honest.







Fidel v1.2 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders <<< NOT GOOD ! ?



Positives


- Currently I have none to mention here because the whole experience is like all the above positives in the other Mod Combination have disappeared, except maybe it is slightly more fluid and organic than Vanilla EA gameplay in terms of animation




Negatives


- The animation for the CPU players looks only slightly more fluid than Vanilla EA Gameplay, but overall the players do the horrible slalom Iniesta move Iniesta Move Iniesta Move as the default running style far too much. Not good.

- Hardly any skillmoves attempted by the CPU players.

- Hardly any fouls by CPU players.





Summing up the Mod Combinations


Its very strange, but its as if going from Fidel v1.0 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders to Fidel v1.2 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders is similar to when EA patched the Vanilla game from v1.00 to v1.02, the experience is shattered completely.

I cant recall what difference I noticed last week between AI v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2 before the Hybrid AttribdbGameplay folders were released by Fidel, but certainly these two Mod Combination tests have proved to show major differences. Incidentally I haven't included AI v1.1 in these tests, I might test that similarly later with v1.0 Hybrid

I have done all the tests with Fidel DB 0.5 for both Mod Combinations and also using Fidel DB 0.6 which I know is meant to marry with Fidel AI v1.2 better, and have definitely regenerated with the more trustworthy Filemaster 14 whilst switching between databases, so my tests havent given any false results.


Anyway, its just so awesome to have, just by luck, stumbled upon this fantastic Fidel v1.0 AI + Fidel v1.0 Hybrid AttribdbGameplay Mod Combination, not only because I witnessed my long awaited successful Rainbow attempt by a CPU player, but more so for all the positives I have listed above.


Fidel, please get that AI v1.0 gameplay back and inserted into your future CL.INI releases!!!!!

Hello, I suggest you to use FIFA14 File Loader for modded gfx files only!
And use the standard regeneration method to enable gameplay core mods (HG or DB) and lua files.
Read my info and use my installation steps to enable HG. Or wait for the new tool!

Hi Fidel, i made a lot of tries and attempt to solve the incompatibility...
but i realized that if you wanna play the career mode with HG installed, you HAVE TO use the edited database.

Infact in my team (MILAN) it's not a problem of player recovery, it's like the player doesn't even get tired at all.

If I play with HG enabled, all of the player end the match with the whole stamina, the only Kakà get tired because he has (40) as Resistenza (in 2nd year...).

So my conclusion is that you surely have edited something in the attribdb or attribgameplay files that make the HG working properly only with your database...

Since you made the HG not togheter the AI&DB, is there any possibility for you to mod the HG to make it compatible with original db?
I guess the problem is only on resistance...

Another thing, please can any one share with us a sliders set made for the combo Ai-db-HG by Fidel, i know it's better set them by my self, but a'm really not goood at that, i don't even know where to start, so please any one, help a brother out.

GP EVO AI 1.3: a little bit decresed header accuracy + some little editing after sg forum feedbacks.

Click "SAVE AND SHARE COMBO SET" button to manage, save and share (read my info into the tool).

INSTALLATION
FIFA 14 DB & AI INSTALLER TOOL 1.0 isn't required.
New version is standalone.
If you have previously installed Tool 1.0 you must uninstall.
Run setup file and install on FIFA14 MAIN FOLDER (\Origin Games\FIFA 14)
FIFA 14 ModdingWay Mod is required before you install my gameplay GP EVO DB Mod.
I suggest to regenetate game files with File Master 14 by Rinaldo (fifa14 installation required - or fifa14 registry key required).
Open file Master 14 (admin rights), check if the tool point to the correct FIFA 14 folder, from Tools menù click regenerate bh files, wait for ready, close FM14.

Start FIFA 14 HG - DB - AI TOOL 2.0 from desktop shortcut!

I SUGGEST TO PERFORM A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT BH AND DB FILES AT FIRST START.
ENABLE/MANAGE/APPLY YOUR FAVORITE GP MOD SETTING/COMBO.
YOU MUST REGENERATE ALL GAME FILES AFTER APPLYING HG (Hybrid Gameplay) or GP EVO DB.
Start game, from GAME OPTIONS, GO TO EDIT TEAMS, AND THEM CLICK RESTORE ALL ROSTERS/SQUADS TO DEFAULT
(required to enable GP EVO DATABASE into the game).
Anyway I suggest to read my txt files for more common info/tips.


For Windows Vista/7, start tool with admin rights!
Pefectly working on Windows 7 64 Bit.
Some 64 bit system are not supported, install tool, merge/copy/paste manually relative files to Game folder, regenerate.

1. GREAT F---king job. The game plays so much better with your mods. I just downloaded the new set and installed it.

2. I have a suggestion. On each of your mod editions could you change the ball that is used in the arena so we know it installed successfully? Would it also be possible to do this with various installation combos:
-Like a high vis ball if AI 1.3 and Hybrid Gameplay is installed
-The blue EA ball if AI 1.3 is installed but no Hybrid Gameplay
-The classic black and white if Hybrid only is installed
-Etc?

Or would this be way to hard to do? I have no idea. You guys work magic and bring joy to my FIFA life. EA ruins the game with version 1.02 (I thought the base game was really good this year) and you fix it. How EA has not hired you and your mod buddies is beyond me!

Yes indeed, I used AI v1.0. I got confused there LOL. But yes, great experience all in all!

One thing I have noticed after 5 games. The AI blocks crosses with bike kicks almost exclusively. I didn't notice this in the other AI files but have seen it in 1.3. Anyone else experiencing this?

So now that we're ok on the gameplay with the Ai-Hg-db (by the way, what about the "UsePropPhysActivationJobs=1" thing, is it really making a difference?), still no sliders concensus but it's fine.

We should now attack a new parameter, wichn is the player's wage and value.

I don't know if there is a patch like last year with the Corleone thing, but it will be great to have something like that this year, especially in the career mode to avoid having all the players moving to other low club.
