I used some of the settings on your site for the locale.ini
The language selection doesnt work for me, can you please explain how to use those settings?

First of all you cant find locale.ini cause it doesn't exist, you need to create it. So,create a file named locale.ini or common.ini in your FIFA 08 main folder (Example: EGames\Fifa 08) and insert this:

RENDER_QUALITY=2 // 0= Low , 1= Medium, 2=High
RESOLUTION=1280x1024x32 // Depending your system, you can change to 1280x1024x32
WINDOWED=0 // 0= Full Screen, 1= Play as windowed

VIDEO=0 // 1= Yes, 0= No Video introduction in game
AUDIO=1 // 1= Yes, 0=No
SPEECH=1 // 1=Turn on Commentators

ALLOW_DEBUG_FREE_CAM=0 // If you want to see free camera in INSTANT REPLAY, set 1

RENDER_RATE_MODE=2 // MUST HAVE, the game will be more smooth with 2

AVAILABLE_LANGS=eng // can be fre, dut, ger, ita, kor etc...

DEFAULT_TEXT_LANGUAGE=eng // Must be the same as AVAILABLE_LANGS

SKIP_TITLE=1 // Super quick loaded without see LEGAL Screen

Where you see AVAILABLE_LANGS=eng // you can put what language you want, if it is available in the game of course: fre, dut, ger, ita, kor etc...

And where you see DEFAULT_TEXT_LANGUAGE=eng you must put the language you choosed in the AVAILABLE_LANGS=eng //

For example if you have AVAILABLE_LANGS=ger // then you put DEFAULT_TEXT_LANGUAGE=ger // as well!

And for the other options you can choose betwen what's after the "//"
For example instead of RENDER_QUALITY=2 // you can choose RENDER_QUALITY=0 // or RENDER_QUALITY=1 //, depending on how powerfull your computer is ("0" is the lowest).

The same for the other settings. Cheers!
