Obviously the World Cup for me. Just for the fact that it's every four years, so the anticipation is greater. And you get to see different types of playstyles. I like the Champions League a lot, though. Especially when just about every World Cup ends in dissappointment.

World Cup for me.

Although I generally enjoy club football more than international football, the World Cup is simply a showcase of football, with thousands of fans gathered in the same country (or countries, as was the case of Korea/Japan) celebrating the event.

The games are pushed together in a short period of time, and there are no other games in between it (unlike how the league games and cup games bisect the Champions League matchdays).

There are also less games, and therefore less meaningless games. 3 games per team means that at most you are going to play one meaningless match, but many Champions League teams are knocked out before Match Day 5.

not even close....I think if you add up 4 years of CL and 1 World Cup, then it's a good question...
otherwise The freakin World Cup is the only thing God wont destroy when He returns pissed off (6)

Dat dere World Cup. Comes by every 4 years so IMO you savour it more. Plus every country can only work with what they've got. I watch EVERY single WC game, but for the CL I sometimes just can't be ****ed and just watch the highlights show on Friday.

You can just about watch all the games in the World Cup, but with the Champions League, there are so many teams that you can almost never watch them all. So many of them go on at the same time as well - so you can never watch all of them live.

it is a difficult one. but the games of the first round of WC are more often boring than CL. and i guess the next WC played in south africa may be boring too with very slow football because of the high temperatures:(

WC should be always played in europe! :p
