Has there been a thread like this? Probably. That being said im interested in what ppl have to say about this. Its too hard to pick a certain player, so id have to say as a whole English soccer players are VERY overrated. Most notably Owen, Beckham, both Nevilles, Ferdinand and whole bunch of others.

Owen is not over rated. look at his record and you will see this! Ronaldo over rated. ha that has to be correct then! Ronaldo, again, look at his record. Even coming back after an horrific injury, he can score 20 in la liga!

Beckham is way over-rated. The English press over-rated Owen, he is no doubt a brilliant player but not a legend. Ronaldo is a very skilful player and any manager would love him in there team so he can hardly be over-rated.

David Beckham and Fabien Barthez (no, I don't hate Manchester United. In fact, it's one of my favourite clubs).

Roberto Carlos is a little bit. If he played as a left winger, he would be the best in the world. He doesn't defend as good as he attacks. Wasted talent :kader:
