Can both fit in the same team? Where would you play Griezmann? His position is what is making me doubt on whether he would work out or not. He seems best playing as a striker in a 4-4-2. This will mean Pogba will have to play more defensively since there are only 2 midfielders rather than 3. Should he play right wing?

he's a classic number 10. so I would suggest an old style 1-3-2-4 which Mourinho likes, with Rashford/Ibra up front, Greizman as middle of the three and James and mkitaryan on the sides, but yes I agree that in practical terms even if you define one of the two central midfielders as box-to-box, he's likely to be more defensive than you would want pogba to be. you need a kante to partner him and good CBs.

ManU was clearly on a different than Ajax. We played 4 2 3 1 with Herrera and Pogba playing deep so that playmaker fellaini can play AMF. Typical Mourinho.

you shouldn't be too proud of this but at the same time you should be delighted to be back in cl and also to have the extra transfer power that entails. it was so necessary and you did it.

targeting qualification through europa is going to be a thing too, Liverpool tried it last year and I can see arsenal doing it next

If Leicester won the UCL would there be 6 EPL teams in the next UCL? Has there ever been 6 teams from the same league qualifying in the UCL?

I am more happy to be in the UCL next year than winning the Cup. We won 2 plastic cups AND qualified for the UCL whereas some teams like Liverpool and Tottenham qualified for the UCL but won nothing.

No, there is a max of five teams from one country allowed in the CL - had leceister won, fourth place would not have made it.

there are some tough teams Liverpool could meet in qualification. it's good that you're out of that.

the teams Liverpool could face are not as good as I thought since some last day changes in domestic leagues (ie dortmund up to 3rd). Liverpool are seeded and these are the teams they might play: Sporting Lisbon**, Hoffenheim, Viktoria Plzen*, CSKA Moscow*, Club Brugge*, Steaua Bucharest*, Young Boys*, Nice*, Istanbul Basaksehir or Besiktas*, 2nd place side in Greek league* (currently PAOK).

Yeah, we'd have no choice if it came down to it. Since we have zero hope of competing in the CL anyway why not try win a European trophy. Not like its a cake walk and there aren't good teams in it.
