Was wondering what smaller club teams you have had success with.... division promotion, cups, euro competitions, etc...

I myself have had some luck with :

FC Utrecht ( Holland ) .. they were a mid table team in the Dutch top division.... in four years I had them in the final 8 of the Champions league, twice, and I won two Dutch League Titles and also two Dutch Cup's as well.... Oliseh is a great defensive mid , Berger turns into a world class strker and I always manage to sell him for 11 million plus to the Dutch lovers at Rangers. Utrecht is stocked with tons of young talent...it's a fun ride to play with them

GBA of Antwerp , Belgium. They start off asking to just stay alive in the top flight, which always makes the task a bit less stressful, knowing that the ax isn't around the corner. They have a few players to start off with... but I amanged to work the free tansfer wires pretty well and I turned them into a European power house. We won the Uefa Cup once, Champions League final once and won our league four times out of six tries. I am still going strong with GBA and I am about to expand the stadium by 40%.

Starting XI
well i tried two season with low quality clubs: Rochdale (England D3) Tarato (Italy C2A, i think) but that was when i first started championship manager so i didn't do that well :( :)
