Moving the location of files

I would like to know if changing the directory of my patches and CMP files on my computer will cause an error in CM08.

I wan to reorganize things, but I don't want my game to crash!!:

Here is what I understood and my answer:

- You have some patches in cmp format and you need to change their directory on your PC:

well, no problem at all, your CM08 will work with no errors as the CM08 has nothing to do with the location of your patches, when you want to install them you choose their location and load the patch, then CM08 will never need the cmp files.
