I use Opera, but like Firefox a bit... the only thing that I dislike in it is the extension stuff... It's a 8MB download and I have to install extensions to it while my 3MB Opera has it all built in (and yeah, it may seem like only a 5 MB difference, but I'm on dial up...)
With some extensions Firefox is great, and much better than IE... but I just happen to prefer the Opera + Proxomitron combo
Again, just don't use IE and your computer should be quite safe

Firefox is nice and simple but nothing is better than Opera which is the fastest for me in comparision with FF (don't count turtle grandpa IE) and most powerful in many cases

plus, what about a little contest about quick pressing "back"/"forward" buttons (or mouse gesture) in each browser? :mexican: hehe cache'ing in ram - priceless

Firefox is starting to tick me off with slow downloads. The same files go like 20 times as fast in IE. Does anybody else have this problem?

EDIT - Nevermind, the servers were just slow as hell.

LOL to the previous post....
I've had some problems with firefox dling but it's due to the xpcom thing or the mcafee guarddog.

another problem I'm encountering: do u guys also have problems in yahoo mail with firefox?
I can't delete e-mail with it. I checked the unwanted e-mails clicked on delete, the browser refreshes and the mails are still there. Is it coz I need to change sth in the settings (they're in default right now)?

It's not a big problem I can always switch back to IE to delete those. Just wanted to know if u guys have the same problem

I love Opera and I use it as my default browser (7.60 Preview 3) but I must assume that latest relase FireFox 1.0 and especially its extensions like fantastic Adblock is really great - you can block whatever you want and clean your favourite sites from flashing garbage (flashes, ads, gifs whatever) with few simple clicks
I can't see any reasons someone wants still stick with sh|tty IE, new FireFox +extensions and latest Opera are light miles behind this "internet thingy"

Firefox 1.0 is defenitely the way to go!

Only thing I'm a bit ticked off about is that all of the cool extensions that I had working on the 0.9 version don't work on 1.0 (or at least most of them don't). I guess I'll just have to wait a bit until the extension authors update it to be compatible with Firefox 1.0.

Using Opera 7.6 p3 for most of my time but FF seems to have really improved from the last time I've used it...
still not good enough to make me switch from Opera, but it's nice to see FF growing and improving

I use Firefox since I had some spyware on my comp and got all these pop-ups seeing as Firefox can block pop-ups they didn't annoy me anymore.

Anyone know where I can download Firefox 0.9?
I wanna go back to using that until the cool extensions are updated for 1.0.
