Mr. & Mrs. Smith

This movie concentrate on action more than the contradiction between the couple, it is a waste of the excellent concept behind the movie

Hakeem

Superman
nah, nothing like that. if anything, it could use a little bit more action like more scenes of them doing their jobs.

Tom

That Nice Guy
i disagree UFO, but i also disagree with you Hakeem, the action scenes didnt spoil the general feel of the movie but there didnt need to be any more either, my review will explain it more i suppose :D

Sorry about this, only just got in and going out again soon so i havent got time at the min, i know you're all so desperate to read it :D :D :D

you're right about that, I really liked Brad Pitt's performance is really comedic which I really haven't seen him do before (Y)

Never watched the Friends episode in which he guest starred, he was great in that!

I didn't like Mr. and Mrs. Smith much.

It literally had no storyline or plot. I have seen better action in cartoons then I did in this movie. There were a lot of things that were left unexplained -- unidentified agency i.e. Whatever happens to them in the ending? They stopped with their pursuit of killing them because..?

The whole Jolie and Pitt killing the federal agents and going back to a marriage counselor to work on their marriage was predictable. Yeah, okay - you're back together - precious. The only reason this movie is still out is because A. Jolie and B. Pitt are in it -- and unlike me -- people like and want to see them.

I want my money back.

..........

I'm looking forward to watch Batman Begins, Dark Water and The Wedding Crashers. As far as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory goes -- man Johnny Depp has never looked so ugly. I was heartbroken! I've seen the original version of the film where Gene Wilder plays the role of Willy Wonka, and it was good -- but I don't know about this one.

can anyone remember brad pitt's appearence on Carlos*ass?

TROD.

yes, that was the episode that pretty much put Carlos*ass on the map. everybody knew those guys were doing crazy stuff on MTV but when Brad Pitt did that everybody talked about it and started watching even more (Y)

The sight of Brad Pitt doing crazy stunts in a monkey suit also didn't do his image any harm :D

Brian, just noticed in your review that you were implying (correct me if I'm wrong) that Doug Liman also director The Bourne Supremacy, he didn't. He directed Bourne Identity and produced Bourne Supremacy but Paul Greengrass actually directed Bourne Supremacy.

The BBC also listed Doug Liman as the director of The Bourne Supremacy.

Tom

That Nice Guy
yeah Phil, but producing CAN be the same as directing, at the end of the day the film has to go through the producers and they can do what they want with it, hence why popular movies get a directors cut often.

Only saying that its POSSIBLE he had more to do with the media than you thought.

The director is completely different to the producer. The director directs the movie but since he works for the producer the producer can order the director to re-shoot a scene or tell him (or the editor) to edit a certain scene but he doesn't actually direct the camera action.

The producer is generally like the big boss and everybody else works for him, including the director.

Tom

That Nice Guy
exactly, thats what i said i think.. what i mean is while he didnt direct it, in actual fact he may have had such a massive role in it that he might aswell be listed as director!

it was ok, nothing special

the usual bullsh*t shooting with the mp5 and ump's no point to the movie, it doesn't make you think about anything or change your thoughts about the world after you watch it

Hakeem

Superman
yeah really. I think if a movie does that, then great, but they're not meant for that.
if you want to get your beliefs changed then read a book :p

Cool, you guys have convinced me to see the movie. It got pretty crappy reviews here in West Oz and i was umming and ahhing about it. Think i might take my girlfriend so we can both perve on Angelina and enjoy a decent movie :)

haven't seen it and probably never will. Looks to boring cliché-hollywood-action-trash, but hey, I might be wrong.

Though any action movie is boring after you've seen Pulp Fiction.
