Multiplay Connection Losses

Hey,

I have DSL and it is quite a good speed. For some reason when I play online my ping is always high, 700's to 800's, and the connection is lost quite often. I don't have any programs running, other than Norton Anti-Virus. I can't figure out why it does this. It doesnt happen with any other games that I play online with so it is just FIFA....

If you have any information on why this might be happening i'd appreciate you telling me...

Are you sure it's you losing the connection and not the person you are playing?

It's possible, and that it was just unlucky, but my ping is also strangely high...

well what's your dissonnect percentage?

19% but I have only played about 4 games with DSL and been disconnected from 2... I was on dial up before that, so thats understandable.

My ping is still in the 600 - 800s

Try going into a matchup room that doesn't have a lot of players in it. I'm on a 1mb connection and when in a full room i get pings around 500, but if i move to room with less players my ping will drop to 120

I have some questions,
Where are the Oceania servers?
Is one in Australia?
If one is in Australia why is the best ping i get 450?
I play other games online the ping ranges from 150-350 for Australian servers. And 350 for US servers.
Why is it that german speaking people use oceania servers and get 130 ping?
Why can't we PC users play against people with consoles online?
Is it too hard or something?

I have an idea!
EAsports don't give a ****! thats why.
