CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I GO INTO THE MULTIPLAYER SECTION IN FIFA Y2K1, I CLICK ON THE MATCHMAKER BUTTON IT STARTS TO LOAD EA.COM FIFA 2001 SITE ,I LOGIN AND THEN PRESS MATCHUP BUT NOTHING HAPPENS!!! IT SAYS SOMETHING LIKE (JAVA SCRIPT VOID)IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??

I had the same problem, I emailed EA and they replied:

"This problem is normally caused by not allowing the page to load fully
before pressing the Matchup button. There is a small Launching program that
is installed to your machine after you press the Matchup/internet games chat
button in side the Game itself. Please wait for the Page to Load fully
before pressing the Matchup button."

Also from another email:

"Typically people receive this error when the page has not had the chance to
fully load before the Matchmaker link is pressed. Also, make sure you have
waited for the game installer to be downloaded before pressing that link. To
check to see if you have the game installer on your machine, please do the
following:

1. Click the start button, go up to Settings, and select Control Panel.
2. Double click the icon for Add / Remove Programs.
3. Look for EACom in the list, to make sure it has been properly installed."
