Multiplayer tips needed

Since I am new to this game I would like if anyone could give me some tips for multiplayer success.

Does the feints work at all in multiplayer and how should they be used?

What about long passes into the box or crossings? I am never able to score on one of those.

How can I make my corners and freekicks more effective?

Are the analog passes a substitute for the standard way of passing or are they more effective (when used right)?

Any tips or opinions will be highly appreciated!!!

Okay well there are some fundamental techniques that you MUST use.

The first is that you have to use the R2 button to move you player when you make any type of pass - but namely the long ball. Move the target player in the direction of the ball's path to have more chance of retaining posession.

this also goes for crosses - when you cross the ball, manoeuveure your target player in a suitable position (unmarked preferably) and get the header or shot in.

Second most useful technique is don't run fully, but dribble with acute, sharp movements in different directions until you can see an opening. This not only gives your team the time to move forward, but also intimidates and infuriates your mate who can't get hold of the ball. Often he will probably just foul you or leave an easy chance ;)

Sorry about your other points:

Press the pass button (X) just after you press shoot to feint.

NO the right analog stick is a ****e option to use to pass, and it is nowhere near neccessary to be able to win matches.

as far as corners are concerned, what you need to do is wait for your players to perform runs into the box [this can be done by changing your stragety] and aim your corner accordingly. if you are going for a near post corner it is best to press forward as well as a direction. although this way it is more difficult to get a header, if you do aim it correctly and get a header it will be devastating for the opposing defence. also pouting some curve on the ball with the left and right directional buttons is highly advisable. this works particurarly well if you take right-hand corners with a left footed player and vice versa. finally you can choose how many players to get into the box, according to the situation, by altering you attack and defence level.
