Well, I practised like hell to get BGs the way I wanted. But too see some extra things that I saw in peoples banners that I didnt know how to do, I got some help of some people I know, and some tutorials, they help a lot.
Instead of me having to type it all up (it would be a long post), go on to Google and search for some tutorials for background making for the graphics program you use.

can you recomend a site that has good backgound tutorials, I haven't been able to find any on some of the popular tutorial sites around are there any particular filters that u use that work well for that???

I would if i could, but I cant.
For I no longer use the tutorials, so I took them out of my favorites.
I'll search for some, and I'll post up the link in a new topic later on
