Music help for my NEXT WE Movie

Yo,

Over the course of my MASSIVE 10 day vacation I captured a ****load of WE6, WE6:FE, and JLWE6 footage back home in Toronto in order to fill my computer HD, take it back here to London (Ontario) and make a new Winning Eleven movie.

I've got some new ideas for this one, but what I am missing and what really is the frame work for the whole thing is the music since that's what I time everything to and that's what sets the tone/mood.

Unfortunately, I'm drawing a blank with the musak and that's where I need your help suggesting some songs/pieces you love to see with virtual football footage.

I'm open to anything (serious, please don't suggest the Sesame Street theme - i'm not making a Fifa movie ;) ) from any genre.

FYI I'll probably have the movie done in a month or two because I'm taking it slow (since I have so much work here to do).

PS If anyone has any kickass goals in the three aforementioned games that they'd like to have in the video and have them in roughly 320 x 240 resolution (format doesn't matter) just point me towards where I can dl them and it would be my pleasure to put them in the vid in some shape or form (and of course you'd be credited in the...er..credits :) )

I would go for Geoge Michael's "Freedom". That intro part with no lirics, followed by the part were they sing "freeeeedom" many times, I think it sounds great!

And if you are able to insert some black spots with sayings like "freedom of play" or something, it would look fantastic.

I know George Michael is totally gay, and I don't even like his songs all that much, but this song has allways reminded me of football.

Skank is also cool, but only portuguese people (like me) or portuguese speaking people would understand, but it would defenetelly sound great.

Another idea, would be putting the movie in slow motion, and using Sinatra's themes like "My way" or the Bono's duet "Unde my skin". --> I just love the classics.

Finally, there is the allways great "goal, goal, goal" by James, or the "Let me entertain you" by robbie Williams or even the very gayish "Larger than life" by the Backstreet boys.

They all have some powerfull lirics.

Chikitop - great suggestion with the oldies in slow mo - I like it, I may explore that a bit more. I already used 'Let me entertain you' for my first video (great minds think alike eh? :) ).

Check out "Fu**ing in the Bushes" by Oasis (from the Snatch Soundtrack). I am not an Oasis fan, but this track is simply amazing. Tons of power.

If it would have to be a famous track maybe the one by that french band, i think it was used for euro 96 or WC98

The video had all of the teams flags painted on people playing football :confused:

cool, i think it may be easy to find this song on kazaa, winmx, etc.

i'll try to translate the lyrics later... the main problem is my limited english (:/)

Freedom is a way cool song, George is definetelly gay. Spot the diference?

That particular music is good, very good actually. The final countdown by the other hand is an excelent example of bad "so 80's" music.

Anyway, this is a stupid discussion, it is all a matter of taste. What would happen to red if everyone enjoyed blue? ;)
