Mutu Agent Confirms Juve Negotiations

SBF

Starting XI
10/11/2002. Adrian Mutu's agent Pastorello confirmed to SoccerAge.com sister site that Parma's Romanian super-star, who is being closely tracked by Juventus, won't leave the blue and yellow outfit when the transfer window re-opens in January.

"I would like to exclude this possibility. Sacchi is enthusiastic about the player, and with Adriano he forms an impressive striking tandem. Sure, if someone presents themselves with an incredible offer that is around double the fee Parma paid Verona for the player, then Parma might let him go," said Pastorello.

Mutu's agent also confirmed Juventus are one of the possible future desitinations of the player.

"Juve are following him, but aren't the only ones. The Bianconeri were about to buy him this summer but then opted for Di Vaio as Mutu would have created some problems for Del Piero."

:) i like Mutu..but do Juve really need a striker ?? Maybe salas will leave in Jan...so then there will be room for Mutu.

But im glad Juve bought Di Vaio...he is real class.

Juve have been tracking Mutu forever now :|

i'd say Juve should buy Mutu next year. I mean yea he's been playing world class the last couple of weeks but Parma need to hold him and he'll make himself famous, maybe make history and then from there he can move on to Juventus next season and successfully win the Scudetto and the Italian cup with the.

Mutu was on 5th place last season in Seria A being part of last years top 5 !

1) Del Piero (8 avg)
2) Maldini (7.16)
3) Hubner (7)
4) Appiah (7)
5) Mutu (6.83)
6) Nesta (6.83)
7) Thuram (6.83)
8) Seedorf (6.83)
9) Nedved (6.83)

according to an italian sports website !
