There's a lot of great striker, midfielders, and defenders in the Premiership, but I just was curious as to who you guys thought was the most valuable to their respective teams. I mean, if a team has two strikers with 20 goals each, that's great, but if one team has one centre-back holding the entire team together, he's worthy of praise, no matter how bad the team actually is.
Personally, I give it between Steven Gerrard at Liverpool or Thierry Henry at Arsenal. Stevie G has absolutely carried his team some games this year, and for my money is one of, if not the best central midfielder in Europe, and when Henry isn't playing, Arsenal seem to lack the creativity and flow that have become so associated with them over the past few years.
Of course, you could also give it to Gravesen at Everton, because though Everton is a true team, he really stands out by giving them steel and grit in the "boiler room" at the center of the park.
How 'bout you guys?
