ok i was usin it and then i turned it off(you kno like when ur in a hurry and u just press the button instead off goin to start) well 2 hours later i turned it bak on and it tells me to go to safemode so im like ok and then i press enter and then it goes to the windoes loadin screen and it just restarts
and it keeps doin that


help! wat should i do!

If it still continues that way, m8 you are f***ed. The only way to fix it is to reformat the whole thing and reinstall the OS. But since you mentioned it's your mum's she might have some important data in there or something. Goodluck. Tough Luck really. :\

I'd try and take the HD to someone else's computer, to see if it works there, so you ensure the HD is working correctly... if it is, back up important data right there... if it's not... well... I'm afraid Y2K has said it all...

Get a boot disk off someone, then boot your computer with the boot disk and run the diagnostics available. (google search ultimate boot disk). I'dd use that function to, at the very least, save important documents to disk before a possible wipe of the disk.
