This is the first time i've ever tried making a kit. It is my own version of a kit for Shandong Luneng Taishan of the Chinese Super League. I know they suck but I would like some suggestions. Also I would like to learn how to add color and little things to make it more detailed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

It's very good for a 1st attempt but I would offer the following:
1 - use a different texture as that one is not very flattering to your design
2 - Put the sponsors on a separate layer beneath the texture using "multiply" so that they look like they are part of the fabric

Not too bad for a first attempt but:
1- You should try to make a collar
2- logos are missing between the "collar" and the big sponsors (equipement and team logo)

for the collar, you can make an inner shadow...well i'm not a pro kitmaker, you should ask advices to Alex or others...
your 2nd attempt is not bad but:
1) it's an adidas design so you have to put the 3 stripes around the "collar" and on the sleeves
2) the adidas logo + design are missing on the shorts and the socks
but you should take an other template because i think it's difficult to work with that kind of template...

A minikit is a front preview in the menu.
You should try to make minikits before kits, it'll make you few practice !!!
Take my MSN or Demoniox's one to have templates and some tips (well for the tips you'll see with demoniox ^^)
Kit can be installed with Kit Raptor (in .BMP format)
Minikits can be installed with Logo Working 3.0 (in .PNG format and 128*128)
