Hi.
We don't get paid hehe, but the club are looking to in the future.
We won 1-0 today away, it was about an hour away so a bit of traveleing.
When we arrived at the ground I was like 'arr smart!' cuz it had a proper stand and that, nice lil set up. But annoyingly the pitch was a bit slopey, and the grass was a little long. I started the game on the left side (2nd start) and did average in my opinion. I did a couple of crosses and didnt have to do much defensive work. But what I would say is that what I did well.. I didnt do so well if you get me? Kinda good and bad. Whatever it is I know I can do better and I will.
I had a few runs and did a few important things, but I wasnt at my best at all. But I think I'll learn from today's game, hopefully so anyway.
I got fouled today more than i've ever been... Ever.. But that's no excuse.
There were atleast 6 or 7 fouls on me, 2 atleast should of been bookings but werent.. (referee
)
So i've got a big cut, 2 little ones, some bruises and i think a bruised nose (which i didnt even get a foul for
) lol. O well, it's part of the game and im gonna expect it being the youngest bla bla bla.
But anyway we scored in the second half, it was one of those games where 1-0 seems.... Not bad but.. It would of been better if it was like 2 or 3-0, of course it would in any game.. But it was one of those games.
A couple of people said well done N stuff but that's not good enough, not by a long long long long LONG shot. I wanna aim high, and today I didnt meet anywhere near the requirements needed for me to progress. Im upset. But when given my next chance i'll take it. I'll take it.
O well that's my 2 cents.

Aight well tonight im starting in probably one of the biggest games i've ever been in. We're 2nd N they're 1st. It's a cup game which means it'll be the first of 3 encounters.
They're supposed to be the best team in the league, so this is a big chance for me. If I play noticibly well against a team like this then who knows what could happen, these are the games I need to perform in if I wanna move upwards.
Gotta be at the ground at 6:15 for a 7:15 kickoff.
It's at our home ground, which isnt as good as theirs but our floodlights are cool, we've got 6 of em and they're quite bright so should be cool.
I'll most likely be on the left, and hopefully I get a lot of the ball and get some crosses in.
Obviously with my age, playin in a mens league im gonna be expected to get fouled quite a bit, I don't mind that if we've got a strong ref. So hopefully we have tonight!

But if there's an open space to cross the ball, i'll use it without takin him on. I think that's an important factor, you don't always have to beat the player, creating space is the main thing.
So yeah, just had somethin to eat and im jus drinkin water now lol (what a pro i am) and just thinkin about what im gonna do, i cant stop thinkin thinkin thinkin. I've played in cup finals, league winner deciding games but they were a couple of years ago, so this'll be my biggest test and im just so excited.
Tonight im playin against a boy who I used to watch when I was about 13, and he was about 16 at the time, tonight we'll be on the same pitch lol, who'd of thought that. Not me for sure.

Lost 4-0 BUT it sounds a lot worse than it was.
At the end of the day it's about ME, nobody wants to stay in the reserve league, it's about gettin out of that league and into the first team, so it's about how I played, not so much the team.
Aight I started on the left, against a very pacey right midfielder, kinda like Ronaldo v Shaun Wright Phillips, 2 people who're pacey.
Like I said they're top, and havent lost a game in ages, the same as us. But it was a very good standard of football. The best standard i've ever played in.
I had to get up and down up and down, but im more known for my skills n tricks, so I had a couple of runs at their defenders, and got a couple of corners and crosses in.
There was quite a big crowd there and quite a lot knew my name
so I was chuffed at that lol. I got a bit of stick from their RM player when I tried some tricks against him lol. He didnt like it but like i've been told, they wouldnt give criticism to the worst player on the pitch would they?
We went 1 down in the first half, our keeper was kinda to blame but anyway we got on with it and went into half time 1-0 down.
In the dressing room the manager was like 'yea knock it out to charlie' so I mean I was happy I was bein focussed at gettin the ball 2. So we came out of the second half and started ok, I got the ball and got a couple of beautiful crosses in, if I do say so myself, did some stepovers and got a lot of respect, they just stood off me and everytime I got the ball they were like 'STAND UP STAND UP' which was kinda a compliment for me.
But then they scored 1 and then, u know how it is in Cup football, the next 2 just came in. But like I said it's about how I performed.
I think I did quite well, I was told I was the best player in the first half, not so much the second because of my stamina. Im 16 and have done training but im used to boys football, so mens is a different higher standard, so tonight was my first full 90 minutes, but im gettin there.
I was chuffed when I was runnin at the defender and he was just backin off. I've taken a lot of positives and negatives out of the game. Which i've got time to work on, all of their players were atleast 20, some were 30, some older. Same as our team, so I was by far the youngest on the pitch.
I've got time to learn but im just happy i completed my first 90 minutes. And if u read in my previous post, about the boy who I used to watch, he's 19 now.. 3 years older than me. He's nothin really, not really goin anywhere.
But yeah, i've got to work a bit more on my off the ball movement, making clever runs for through balls and throw-ins and just gonna keep practicin ma tricks.
Got a tiny bit of cramp at the end but that was expected. The first team manager was there and shouted nothin but praise at me! So that's good.
I've got trainin on thursday, and then a game against Pompey Royal Navy on saturday, at home.

Good pitch aswell, a tiny bit rainy which made it a bit boggy but was cool.

my team won second in state having lost in penalties.
now of course no one else cares, but to me it was the best thing in the world.

(Jus a lil update)
Today unfortunately I was sub, he said he had to shift the midfield around a bit to try out new players, but I was still upset.
Anyway we went 1-0 up, then they equalised, then our forward scored a beautiful goal to make it 2-1. I came on in about the 70th minute or so at Left Midfield.
I think I did ok, the first thing I did was control a ball, and then put in a perfect cross for our player only to head it straight to the keeper. Kinda like Ronaldo's cross against Everton at goodison last season?
Then I had recieved a pass on the left, I ran with the ball and couldnt take it any further otherwise i'd of been tackled, so I had a shot and the keeper unfortunately saved it.
After that I smashed the ball, the keeper was beaten, only to hit the bar from about 25 yards out
I thought it was in... So annoyin!
I also had a couple of runs, 1 from my own half where I recieved it back to goal, turned inside and ran with my right, did a stepover then got fouled (which wasnt given), and did a few good lay offs.
Dissapointed I didnt start but im pleased that I managed to get 2 good shots in, would of been better if 1 was a goal tho

hey greaat work mate, im 13 and im hopin to get into non league footy when im a bit older btw wat team do u play for and keep goin!

I shouldnt of been sub imo, not after Tuesday's performance, it's real annoying when that happens, because I know I can hold my own at this standard, even if im playin with people sometimes double my age.
