I came across this new show on IMDb before it even premiered in the States but it had me interested straight away, it looked really and good and I've always been a fan of Jason Lee.
A few days ago I decided to download the first three episodes using BitTorrent since there's no other way I could get to see and I don't regret my decision, what a show!
The comedy is very subtle and brilliantly written, it reminds me a bit of Scrubs (style of comedy). The characters are wonderful with Jason Lee nailing it perfectly. But the supporting cast is great too with Ethan Suplee as his brother and Jaime Pressley as his ex-wife.
The basic premise is that Earl won $100.000 on some scratchcard but just 10 seconds later he is hit by a car and loses his ticket before getting the chance to cash it. While in hospital he sees Carson Daly talk about karma so Earl decides that he has to change his life and he makes a list of hundreds of things he has done wrong in his life and he sets out to make up for it by doing good things.
Anyone a fan of the show? It's one of the best comedies around at the moment, alongside the likes of Scrubs.
