Is it possible for you to make the shorts more smaller, meaning making them closer to the leg skin?

Zdzi, someone also asked me this, and this is what I said:

Mate, you cannot radically change the player model because then the default template will not go well with the model anymore. You would have to pretty much make a unique template only for that edited model...

You cannot make drastic changes to the o-model because then the template won't go well anymore.

I will try, but it will fail...

Please guys, comments about the tape!

Do you also want it on Al Pacino's Untucked Shirt model? I'll need to ask for his permission to change his file though...

Ok mates, here they are! I've made 2 versions. One file has a tucked shirt with new tape. The other has an untucked shirt with new tape.

Sigga, just download the patch made by caseira. It is basically my trick excpet it is much easier to put in the game!

Styphelus: I hope he'll respond, since I also don't like the shadows. reminds me of FIFA 2000...

the ankle tape looks really great in the game now! thanks and may be you would like to modify the size of the short too? it is just to big which make the players look fat because their waist is too wide

The tape is great. Much more realistic. Like day and night!

But does anyone have any idea on how to change the shadows on that other patch back to normal?

I'm trying to figure out the shadows since having everything at max slows down the game for me. So I want to cut the shadows and the crowds as well.

If anyone knows how to do it, please tell us!

What does 1 or 0 mean in the files? Does 1 mean on and 0 mean off??? or what??

Yes, 0 is off and 1 is on.

If you want to make the shadows softer, you can choose to put the medium detail shadows back on, by changing the parameter PLAYERSHADOW_USELOWENDSOFTSHADOWS from 0 to 1 in the cfg_pc_h.ini file. Either that, or play at night - the high detail night shadows are much better than the day ones anyway...

I'm glad you liked it Interista. I also liked your new ankle strap! It's way better than EA's one.
About the shadows, they are the ones the engine automatically uses with higher quality models, they are more detailed and all but if you want to use the sprite version of the shadow just open the files i made with notepad and change this line
PLAYERSHADOW_USELOWENDSOFTSHADOWS = 0
to
PLAYERSHADOW_USELOWENDSOFTSHADOWS = 1
Save it and copy to \data\cmn inside fifa's folder.
Keep up the good job with editing models.

i would like to ask you where are the files you modifiy to edit the ankles, knees and all sort of tapes? i want to edit them myself too. The o files as well as the texture files please.

Interista, the reason why people can't notice your trick, is because you chose a bad example - Beckham. Try someone with long hair like van der Sar, Lucas or Torres. I am sure the difference will be much clearer.
