LOL u are all so funny: FIFA is for kiddies that don't even know how football is like so they want superplayers that can score from everywhere and can dribble half the pitch and score that's just not the deal in ISS, i just tried ISS3 for pc, and yes it's not that good as evolution for ps2 and even for ps1 but still is better than lame fifa!!

I'm sorry i would like you to play me in Fifa2003 and score from everywhere...you sound like a dude that has never ever touched Fifa2003...yes i am first to admit it has its failings...I used to own PES on PSX2 (so I am not talking from ignorance)...but like PES Fifa2003 also has its faults (be it gameplay faults)...but no way is it as bad as some of you pro Konami/anti EA people make out...I am disappointed ISS3 has turned out to be a turkey, but it seems certain people would still rubbish Fifa2003 even when compared to the most pants game they ever played.

God I cant believe how badly this game is being described by some of the lamers in here....whilst not being perfect I think it isnt as bad as what certain people are saying....

I have played Fifa since Fifa97 and it only becomes a good game after you add a few patches ...the original Fifa2003 game looks nothing like the one I have now...

If the patches become available for ISS3 and the few MINOR bugs ironed out then I think it will be a great addition to any footy fans game collection...

Stop this Fifa Vs ISS crap !!!

At first look neone can tell this game is meant to be for the upper consoles than the PC, I mean all the characteristics are there. Konami have done well though, because this game is near perfect.

If you want highly realistic: Animations, Commentary, Atmosphere, Gameplay, Cut Scenes: this game is for you. Fifa has nothing on ISS3, it blows fifa away in every concept other than graphics, but what is EYE CANDY if you can't EAT it.

Okay, the intro is fabulous, typical perfect intros of Konami soccer. I wont' give it away because it is too breathtaking. Once the intro is done, there are many options. FRIENDLY MATCH-whcih consists of 1st player vs CPU,mor than 1player v.s CPU, or v.s eachother. Also there are multiplayer setups, ICP or LAN. I have yet to try it yet, because I have been too involved in my N.America League. Okay, to the OPTIONS.

I was rather dissapointed of the lack of options. THere is a SETTINGS prompt, but all it allows you to do is -turn off commentary and AUTOSAVE everything you do, whether you want that on or off. There is no sound editing, no graphical editing, no resolution changing, because this game is a definite console game. The great things come down the list though. EDITING-yes, typical Konami again, perfect Player editing and team editing. I will show some screenshots of the Player editing features.

Okay, out of the options. Onto the Leagues and CUPS.
There are 3 or 4, i have to check, but most of them are self explanatory.

OKay, once into the game setup ,meaning when you set up the TIME,difficulty, and controls. I was rather dissapointed of the amount of time that cannot be changed, the options given are rather bare, 2minutes,5minutes and 7minutes.I guess this is to create a rather even gameplay environment ( ea take tips). After getting over that, you move onto the screen of the STANDINGS,SCORE RANKINGS,ASSIST RANKINGS and others.

TEAM setup-
This is highly in depth, i mean highly in depth. from formations, to position editing,to off.positoning, to line editing, to place kickers, captains,(what!? we can change captains, ohhh the brainwashing of FIFA) and more.

THE GAME!

Finally, into the game. The loading screen is just a black screen, at least for mine. There the crowd noise appears and Mr. Champion and the analyst, forgot his name, begin. Mr. Champion talks about exact detail of how many points your team has gotten in the past championships and how many the opponent has, brilliant. Okay, back to the start, the animation begins either in the tunnel or as they are walking out. This animation is brilliant, the body movements, motion capture is astonishing and exact, there are no robotic elements present. As the teams come out, the national anthem is played for both teams of course. Then the heads or tails.

THE GAME FOR REAL! :rockman:

The gameplay is smooth, absolutely magnificent, i'm running on a g4 ti 4200 and love it. I have it on Image Setting on PERFORMANCE, AA on 2x, AF on 8x and REFRESH RATE is on 85.
Okay, back to teh game. Here is a big tip that will save you from getting so many damn cards. DO NOT keep pressing the tackle button ( pass button) when without the ball and when the opponent is facing away from you, DO NOT, you will get a card almost every time, it is safer to hold it down ( like fifa) and strafe and keep switching players. I have one complaint in matters of realism ,only one. SKILL, there is wayyy too much fancy skill you hardly ever see. It's basically like, the cpu performs one, take Ariel Ortega for example. He is one on 3, does one RAINBOW, and gets by everyone, it is just higly unrealistic, you see this many many times, and it is highly frustrating, and when you try to do any of these skills, the cpu mostlikely steals it away, takes alot alot alot of practice.

OKay- Animations within the game are FABULOUS. The keeper when making a save, look exactly how a keeper should. In fifa, the keepers are doesn't freaking bend enough, and the movement is too fast like lighting. In ISS3, the keeper looks human, you can see the whole motion of him when he is making a save, his arms bend and either performs a catch or a punch, deflection, or misses it,lol.
Another great great part of animations, is the CUTSCENES. FABULOUS.
Near misses are followed by cinematics, cards are incredibly real, Jeff Agoos got one and him and Batigol looked as if they were about to bout it out, faces were pressed up against eachother lookin all pissed off,it was great. Another cinematics presented, is near chances, not shots, but passes, if a through pass is passed down the flank and it is too hard, that the other player is sprinting so bad to get it, there is a replay of it, and a cinematics of the person who passed it, either raising his arm in disgust or putting his head down depending on the time of the game and situation. The last brilliant animation i think...IS THE COACH.
That's right, coaches animation, wow. Depending on what happens, sometimes the coach will show his disgust or even celebrate with the players on the bench, thats' right, it is incredible. Konami has done an incredible job in mixing up the animations and cutscenes to be different than the game before.

Okay, finishing up here. Gameplay is amazing, crosses are realistic, none of this make the player run and if he's ahead of the defender it is most likely a goal ,pshh, none of that, the defender can be despearte and perform a overhead clearance, or the keeper can run out punch the ball away ( there's no watching the ball ****, like fifa, ahhh it feels so good). And oh another thing, winnign headers are fun too, because you are nto told by some stupid lighted up indicator whether or not you won the ball, you find out where the hell the ball goes obviously. And one last thing on my bickering about EA,lol. Free kicks, there is no stupid square in which you have to get the cursor between and if you do its an automatic goal, yahh,right...No way, it is oldschool World Cup 2002 style and Fifa 98 type free kick system, with swerves and ball flight, thats right, you dont knwo what can happen. OKay, ihave one last thign and it is shooting. Tip: do not hold down the shooting button, an easy tap should do the trick, if held down that bal is out the stadium, man. This is the hardest part, shooting is incredibly hard, specially from outside the box, teh directioning is hard to aim for, because it will either go high and wide or low and wide, its hard to tell, i have yet to master it. one thing i do like, is deflections goals. I have done many of these. A header from teh corner, keeper moving one way, and i do a overhead the other way and GOALLLLLLLL. ahh victory. Exactly how i feel about this game.

Just for fun, my ratings...

GRAPHICS- 8.0
GAMEPLAY- 10
LEARNING CURVE- 30min-1hr

tHanks all, i am taking screenshot request, and i am going to put some up later as i get done with my own playing. Take it easy!

M.L
