My PS2 controller doesn't show up?

I've got one of those USB adaptors that lets you use your PS2 controller on the PC. It worked fine in FIFA 06 and WC2006 but is not even showing up in the FIFA 07 demo. Any solutions? As I can't really get into the game on the keys, not these days anyway.

I think i got near enuf the same kit and I get the problem and some occasions,

But what ive done and has worked is jsut stuffing in the USB into the PC just b4 u load up the demo... that kinda workled for me on occasions..

Just try sticking in ur USB at random moments and then when ur going thru the settings select the game controller
