My sickest goal!

yo, good things happenin - just kiddin - i'm about to throw this shlt outta window... ok, to da point.

just scored the sickest goal in my WE career - too bad it was in training and i didn't have my recording eq handy anyways:

Beckham, 30 meters, middle of the field, shot - a powerful shot, going high, accelerating, curling like SHlT! hits the cross bar, bounces down to the side and hits the post at ground level and then bounces back up and flies right to the back of da net.

Oh my God, the curve on this ball was UNBELIEVALBE - can you imagine ball hittin the crossbar and then post???????? this goddamn ball literaly flew like a boomerang, i sent to the right post and applied such strong curl that it changed directions in mid-air and... GODDAMN.

My sickest goal was an own goal against me in normal level first season ML (only recently got the game) playing as Salvas. Fourth match into season and my record is first game away = loss (2-1) second game home = draw (1-1) third game home = win (1-0) fourth game playing away to Valdai. My formation is a defensive 4-5-1 (cause I'm fookin crap) with default players. Managed to last 0-0 'till the 88th minute when Valdai get a corner - OK panic time! - It's an in-swinger which my keeper punches (not so confidantly) clear to the 18 yard line where Beschastnykh volleys a cracker which deflects off one of my M's which is then cleared off the line by one of my CB's and bounces off the keeper's back into the back of the net - - now I know how Bayern fans felt in 1999 CL final.

I scored a goal just a couple of days ago that found its way into the net via the crossbar then the post, but it didn't really curl at all, it was just shot from a wicked angle.

I remember a goal i scored with van nistelrooy, hits the cross bar, bounces down and back up to hit the cross bar again.
It was such a powerfull shot

i remember an absolute beast i put in that was from a corner. i took it from the right hand side on the right foot, gave it some lift, dipped it and curled it into the crossbar and in!

Mine was the other day. I had a free kick about 40-45 Yards out with Stewart so I decided just to play it into the box and hope someone got to it. I play it in and it bounces, Olisedebe put out a foot to try to get to it but misses it and it bounced and went in right from the FK without anyone touching it. It was unreal.

My sickest goal has to be the one I scored off a freekick with Bergkamp. (if i remember I'll put a link in the gamefootage forum). It was a freekick about 20m out. The kick was away from center to the keepers left. I take the kick with Bergkamp, there is a lot of english (spin) on the ball. Keeper dives but the ball is an inch off his reach, the ball hit the inside of the left post. Because of the spin on the ball, it hits the left post and bounces behind the keeper across the goal line and bounches. But the funny thing is the bounce it had was not on the goal line, it was outside the goal line. The spin that had possessed this ball was far from gone. After the bounce it took a turn across the goal line into the side netting of the right hand post.

When I recorded the goal, I started right behind bergkamp so you can see the dip, swerve, curl and spin of the ball right when it hits the post. I then stop and rotate the camera around to the goal line so you see the craziness of the bounce. It was weird to say the least.

My sickest goal is when I was using Brazil, Carlos gets into the left wing, in the crossing area. Instead of tapping lob, I push shoot as hard as I can, the ball crossed wildly, hitting a guy in his back, deflected, the GK try to stop it, but it went in between his legs . . .

Some of the "sick" goals I have seen:

one that happened to me:
- playing in ML, the CPU is attacking and has a 1v1 against my keeper near the 6 yard box. My keeper tackles the forward, the ball rebounds to my defender, hits him on the head and rolls back into the goal....

one that happened to the CPU:
- again in ML, my forwards are chasing every pass the CPU defenders are making. One of their defenders gets scared and hits a long back pass, the CPU keeper controls the ball and turns back for some reason, but there is not enough space and he walks into the goal by mistake...Own Goal...that was hilarious !!
I win 1:0

- the CPU goalie gets a back pass and tries to launch an attack. he shoots the ball straight to my Forward who taps it in

And no, its no shocking revalation that Beckham is the best at FK's...he is in real life..arguably

Funniest one I've seen was an own goal by the cpu.

I'd crossed the ball in and taken a shot which the keeper had parried. The ball was bouncing around the area when one of their defenders stepped in and tried to blast the ball out of the area towards touch. Just as he was swinging one of his fellow defenders ran into him and knocked him off balance. He swung at the ball, missing it completely with his kicking foot and he knocked it with his standing foot into the goal.

Worst one against me was a magnificent looping header og. I started rushing the goalie out but realised that he'd get to it outside of the area so I stopped that and tried to get the nearest defender to head it back to him. He headed the ball, from about 30m out, looping it over the head of the now stranded goalie and into the goal.
