My thoughts (on CM4)

Well I just thought id give my 2 cents on Cm4.

I havnt played it for long but I really like the game. But I have a major concern about the slowness, im not sure if its just my PC but some things take ages whilst some are very quick. e.g A match on Extended highlights and very fast speed took me half an hour! I do believe that the game is feeling faster than the beta demo but it písses me off. Ill try and delete some stuff of my pc soon.

The gameplay I very much like, its much more varied(News) and I think the 2d match engine is v.good and offers an tactical look into the game and is also more entertaining than just text.

As of Bugs I have not encountered any yet but im sure i will soon judging by other peoples comments.

i like a lot of the little touches, that don't actualy mean anything, but are cool nevertheless.

Like when you score on the 2D engine, and all your plalyers do a belly slide toawards the side line, or run to the corner flag, etc. While the goalie marches back into his net and kicks the ball out in frustration.

Like I said, does nothing for the game, but was pretty funny when I realised what all those dots were doing afte a goal.

Yeah, have you ever seen a pitch invasion by the subs? just happened against me. The opposition scored and all their subs ran on the pitch, I won the match anyway.

James ran up to the other end when Defoe scored an 86th minute winner. I posted the screenshot a while back.

Key highlights and Very fast takes me about 5 minutes. I just played an hour league cup final v Liverpool. The final 10 minutes were horrid. Just kept pressuring me. I won the 2-1.

i have the game got it 29.3.2003.
but i got to say to too slow.
i pissed me off, i cant` play something that is that slow.
but it has lots of divisions some player nationalitis are wrong but no game is perfect.

Im quite dissapointed. The 2D view is a nice feature but when you have a game like Player Manager 2003 on the streets, CM4 comes no where near when it comes to match engine.
I have been supporting CM for a long time but it seems to me that every new game offers too little improvement to be called a new game.

I hope to see a smooth CM5 with more focus on gameplay. Untill then I will be playing PM2003

Nope. Manager is the only place.

i know that in cm 01/02 you can play with national teams, but can you do the same in cm4.
and theres a other game called football director.

Yes, you can play as national teams in CM4. Alike most previous versions, you can manage club and country at the same time.

Bloody hell.

When a national manager is sacked, go to their nation screen and just click apply for job.

I always managed eiter a club or a nt. Never both at the same time

You get many more manager points and a better reputation if you manage both club and country.

I need to play a few seasons and start getting used to the game. I haven't even made a tactic!
