Could everyone please give me their honest opinions on the Mz World Cup. Any comment (on-topic of course:)) that you have on the issue no matter how small, then please post it.
Cheers

Article for The Zone? :)

One point would be the thing about it being optional to release players. The best non-Swedes seem to be playing in Sweden, check out the MZNS site in my sig. ... if that forward's manager doesn't have any Swedish players good enough for the Sweden side, he could withdraw all his players, including his English player. Then England miss out on a great player, and it's not just England who it could affect - other non-Swedish countries could also have the same problems. All the very best players seem to go to Sweden as they have the money, and the very best are international quality. And not only will Sweden be the odds-on favourites, some of the managers could make their chances become even better should some decide not to release them.

Yep, a zone article. I've written two the past three weeks with some praise, some criticism, and some action. All you Q&A forum browsers will probably know what I'm talking about ;) . I'm doing one on the Mz world cup this week. Analyzing the pros and the cons of the issue. So please all of you give me your honest opinion! Cheers for that Chris

don't have a chance of what real? Its more of a country thing than a division thing.

I think it's a great idea and could put the spark back into MZ for me (it's losing its appeal because of all the bugs and the badness of my team). It would be good if it's something that all managers from the country had a say in. As well as voting for the manager and assistant, it would be good if normal managers could suggest tactics to be used and stuff, so that it makes everyone feel involved.

No matter what anyone says, no country will have a clear advantage, because what it comes down to is the best 11 in each country. It doesn't matter how many good Swedish players there are because only 11 of them can play.

Also encourages youth development which is definitely a good thing.

If any English Managers know of any good English players abroad, then let me know, and I will see if I can get them back into the country ;)

It`s great idea - i was waiting for this since first rumours...
But I thought they will release also a youth team - like U-19 or U-21 - it would make a lot to promote youth training.
I do not understand idea with choosing assistant - I hope that MKillah... I mean manager ;) will choose assistan by himself. If assistant would be chosen by all managers it could be a situation that manager and assistant do not like each other or simply can not cooperate with themselves.

Yeah I remember the articles, and Johan's topic as well!

Swish - you won't be able to get the English player in the MZNS team as another team just bought him, but IIRC Kaden Robert was a good player, about 21, forgotten his stats though, good forward. ;) Remember him being listed but no one bought him.

gsg - youth teams sound a great idea, as then two other people get a chance to manage, and we get to see the best young players as well. U19 would be youth players only ... U21 would have some players still young but promoted fro the youth team... not sure which crew would go for if any.

There are enough quality Scottish players to make a national team real. Cheers for the opinions lads! I just needed some alternative views, which I have now.
