Nack...and the infamous FIFA > PES commentary patch.

No it wasn't a hoax and yes i've been doing it for pes4 pc and it's going well.
The thing that has pi**ed me off though is the second callnames for players are not used in this version, so the 2000 players i've done already for that has been a waste of time, but sh*t happens.
So all the front end is done, with Des Lynam Motty and Andy Gray being used again.
The problem with pes3 was the way they used certain lines, just would have taken far too long to get around, so instead I spent the rest of the time extracting callnames and lines from various fifa games and to wait for pes4
I didn't want to announce it as I didn't want to get people too excited and then dissapoint them, but this version of the game is alot more easier to work with, but as i've stated earlier I wish Konami would have used secondry callnames for players, because they are there, but not implemented in the final code, and post and bar hit's is missing too.
I hope people realise this is the hardest patch you could wish to undertake, but i'm doing my best.
If someone else is attempting it, then great good on them because I know how much work is envolved.
I'll do my best that's all i'll say

)That was just plain silly, in my honest opinion. Honestly, who has never wished that EA and Konami would collaborate and make a soccer/football game?
FIFA does have -some- good points, like the commentary and the licenses. And also the editablity. Oh, and lets not forget the crowd chants, on which the Crowd Chant patch was based on. OHOHOH, and the balls. Yea. Easy to edit, without mucking around with model files. Those are all the superficial stuff, of course, but they all make life more enjoyable for both patchers and players.
PES has good gameplay, polished graphics, and uh, I forgot. Note that I am -not- a FIFA fanboy here to destroy earth. I'm just stating my opinion. I only play PES nowadays.
Kudos to Nack for even attempting to do this patch. It's awfully hard work, even if PES4 is much easier to work with. And you should be proud of yourself for continuing even though Konami ****ted on you (not intentionally).
